So, the Jokers are a little bit of a mystery to me. ^^; Are they able to join any Court they choose? And if they do join, what is standing in the social hierarchy do they take? I feel like it'd be hard for them to bow to anyone unless they absolutely had to. xD But maybe that's just me.

Jokers can't really... reveal their rank to people, for feel of capture and/or death. Their general existence in society is considered to be nothing but legend and stories designed to scare children into submission. Some people are aware of their existence, but even then, many would regard them as an ill omen.
Technically, Jokers are unable to join any Court. They may masquerade as someone of a certain suit to gain entry, but if they were found, there would be huge political intrigue as the person who found them either showed them to the world (unlikely... and a problem), took advantage of them, or forced them into subservience somehow.

So if one were to get a Joker...are they playable? How do they interact with others. xD Sorry for asking these questions. They just confuse me. ^^;

I'd recommend that you go to a Joker's page in the Dealer records and check out their abilities. I have one, Kari has one, Ku has one... there are a small handful circulating out there. Mine's name is Jak and he's a freak for all sorts of reasons that have nothing to do with his rank.
Basically, they have an ability that allows them to shape-change, with limits on time and eyes. If you look at the FAQ of questions that have been asked before, I think there's something on Jokers and their shape-changing.

All of the -current- ones, anyways. They have their eccentricities but it's not a prerequisite that they are crazy, for sure XD
