"Oh for the love of White Rabbit!" Was the exclaimation that was heard down the hall as Anubis growled and kicked the door. Damn thing. Wouldn't shut, wouldn't open, bloody piece of shit was what it was. His fingers tensed and his hands slowly balled into fists. Oh how he wanted to punch the damn thing. He'd spent an hour so far, planing down the edge and oiling the hinges. After all of that? Still no progress. Anubis glanced back over his shoulder to make sure no Leverets or Does were sneaking up to see him actually working. He rolled his eyes a bit, why it was such anathema for a Jack to do work was beyond him. It was the only thing that seemed to calm him, or well, piss him off more. But at least it kept him busy. With a frustrated noise he kicked the door before stalking towards his gardens. Soil, green, dirt, all the smells that did actually do something to calm him down.

[Uh... my Jun-muse has decided to lurk out of the shadows and force me to post... oO ] Junjiro had spent the last 20 minutes hidden behind a piece of furniture nearby. His head swaying as if to a beat to the sounds of his father working on the broken door, muttering and swearing under his breath. At the outburst involving the White Rabbit, Junjiro flopped onto his back, a jolt of pain shot though him as the exposed bones on his back jolted pinched nerves. Misery. Why did he enjoy it so? Like a sweet poison he could never rid himself of. The misery of his father, in particular, brought him glee. He wanted to show his face... see the anger on the Jack's... revel in it. He imagine the look as he writhed on the ground, grating his bones against the ground. Then there were footsteps... He rolled over in a swift motion to look. Father-Master was going to the Garden. The door made Father-Master angry. The Garden made him happy. He was leaving the door for the Garden. This would not do. Not at all. His head rolled back, eyes closing as he smiled. He knew how to remedy this. The boy's very existence was a constant thorn in Father-Master's side. This brought him joy. His head rolled back down, like someone who'd fallen asleep at their desk for just a moment, and his eyes pulled half open, staring down his target. A blissed smile crept its way across his face. Yes. Poison cures poison. He walked along behind Father-Master in his odd, jerking walk. Nerves pinching slightly, causing a reaction every time. He knew how to walk without harming himself, but he didn't feel like practicing his girl walk today. He waited until Father-Master had just settled down, getting comfortable to disturb him... "Master?" he called to his father in his whispery flutter of a voice. One would think he was a spooked child who'd just seen a ghost, "Are you well? Would you like me to fetch you anything?"[Temporary color until I find one that fricken works >> Uh... yeah.... sorry Spidey... but yer son's a fucking whack job. xD]

As he moved he snapped his head to the side, letting his neck crack happily. Finally he was away from that door, he'd come back to it later. He snapped his neck to the other side, a rather loud audible crack resounding. The smell of dirt began to drift towards him and his pace slowed just a little. Anubis' shoulders dropped an inch as the relaxation began to drift through his body already. Ahh, the garden. He moved through the open doorway, it was always open to the back area of the Warren. The garden was protected on either side from either the burrow that was his Warren or the bordering hill. A nice little nest if ever there was one. Just enough sun snuck in between the mid-morning and mid-afternoon to make the plants happy. He moved towards the patch of onions and sliced down a few of the straggley greens. They really didn't need to put that much energy into the greens. He always wondered why certain plants needed so much grooming to produce the way they should. Though he supposed, they weren't growing themselves to be eaten, that was his job. At the voice behind him his lip curled, though he continued moving and slicing back the onions until the last one was down to about an inch and a half high. Finally he turned, standing at his full height to look down at his. . . Leveret. "I'm fine June." He said somewhat scathingly. Oh, he knew it was a male, and he knew it was his. Anubis also knew the little male had far too many issues for anything's own good. He had gotten rid of the Doe that produced the Leveret the moment he found out she had given him a son. Useless, couldn't even move about properly to help about the Warren. He couldn't help the small quiver of his lip. One day he'd trade off the leveret and some trinket for a Doe, or perhaps for a pretty little Leveret. "Go through the potatoes for bugs." He said coolly before moving towards the tomatoes. Poor sickly things, didn't get quite enough sun here. (( XDDD Yay for whack jobs! X33 Anubis is very WTF MY LOINS XD at him Anubis: I did not make that *demands you believe him*))

He looked up at Father-Master and blinked as he responded in an interesting tone. He loved that tone. It showed Father-Master was unhappy inside. However, at the order he was given, Junjiro cocked his head. Did he really want him to...? Well, alright.
He moved in his twitching, jerky walk towards the potatoes and Father-Master tended to the tomatoes and began collecting the bugs. However, the bugs were not staying still and were very hard to keep them on his paw. He went over to the gardening tools and grabbed a small bucket and a cloth. He put the bugs he'd collected so far in the bucket and covered it with the cloth. He went through the potatoes meticulously picking up every bug he could find.
After some time, he approached Father-Master with the small bucket in his mouth. When he got next to him, Junjiro pulled off the cloth and dumped the bucket of bugs onto Father-Master's lap, scraping out the remainders with his paw.
"Did you need me to fetch you anything else, Master?"
[....I seriously don't know what in the fuck is wrong with this character xD ]

Anubis quirked an ear now and again, listening to the leveret as he worked among the tomatoes. He plucked the occasional yellowing leaf, making sure to not rip any flesh from the stalk. He rearranged the tomato cages to support the newer branches a little better. It was, okay, but not good enough. Not nearly enough. The only solution though would be to move the plants to the top of the hill in view of anyone wandering by his Warren and that would not do.
He stood, stretching just slightly before watching the small male, picking each bug off. At least the little rat could do that right. For some reason the small leveret was the only one he'd work in front of. Tripsei? Mae? They couldn't see him work. He felt as if it'd make him look lesser in their eyes and that wouldn't do at all.
He sat back on his haunches and watched as June came over with the bucket of bugs. Well, he hadn't asked for that but. . . .
A blinding rage overtook him as every bug was thoughtfully SCOOPED onto his lap. He quickly stood up stalk straight letting the bugs fall from his lap before lunging forwards to grab the little rat around his neck.
"How. DARE you. ." He breathed at the leveret.
(( . . . this is far too amusing XD FAR TOO *giggles* ))

[>> Sorry about the wait. Jun-muse was being uncooperative.]
Junjiro blinked a touch in confusion as Father-Master became enraged. Hadn't he done as he was told? Didn't Father-Master want the--
Junjiro made a desperate attempt to dodge the lunged attack, but in the sudden alarm of blind instinct, wrenched the pinched nerves on his back. The sudden jolt of pain rendered his body useless just long enough to be caught. He gave a loud but short yelp of a screech as he writhed and kicked in Anubis' grip.
"FA-" he stopped himself, "Master! Please! I thought I did as you instructed! Forgive me! I misunderstood!"
For all his love of misery, when faced with real danger, Junjiro was a coward, and he knew it. True anger boiled within him. It's his fault thought Junjiro, If he hadn't forced me to act like a woman, I wouldn't believe myself to be one in moments of instinct...

(that's okay! <3 the reply is wonderful X3 . . Bad Anubis wanted to use the word retarded >.>)
Anubis saw the look of confusion and was disgusted. The child was not only a male but slow as well. How in the name of White Rabbit could he have ever wanted the bugs dumped upon his lap? Stupid little disgusting rat.
He sneered, pleased when the bindings he had put upon the leveret caused a moment of pain so severe that he was easily able to grab him. The screech made Anubis narrow his eyes, but still he held the leveret at arms length. His bracers protecting his flesh from most of the kicks, but the odd blow and bleeding scrape appearing on his forearm. He didn't care.
"Oh you think you did eh. . . BOY?" He said near hissing, eyes as narrow as they could be.
"You thought I asked for them on my LAP!?" He dropped the leveret into a nearby cluster of long grass to break his fall somewhat. Anubis wasn't about to just set him down but he couldn't seriously injure him either.
"Pick them up again in the bucket, and douse them with gasoline, and set the bloody thing on fire. AWAY from the burrow, on a patch of sand. Now is there anything I have not been completely clear on that you can possibly misconstrue as a way to piss me off!?" His voice rose with each word until he was damn near screaming. Stupid idiot.

He squeaked and flailed in the air in an attempt to land in a way that would cause the least amount of pain. Father-Master was "kind" enough to throw him onto some tall grass, but it still hurt, bindings jolting him. He let out a yelp of pain and shook violently out of fear, watching and listening to Enraged Father-Master. Remained as still as possible, save for the uncontrollable shaking. He shook his head. Of course there was some way he could... but Father-Master's rage... he couldn't take any more.
"N-no, Master," he responded in a shaking voice, forcing himself to get up on wobbling legs, "It w-will be d-done." Keeping himself steady as possible, making as little eye contact with Father-Master as he could manage, went about collecting the bugs scattering themselves across the ground and putting them back in the bucket. He racked his brain for places out side the Warren that had sand... he just realized he'd never been outside the Warren... what in the hell was he going to do?! He didn't dare speak up around Father-Master again.

Anubis growled and watched as the leveret flopped about uselessly in the grass for a minute. The bindings had their purpose but he always had to watch his anger around this one. He'd be damned if he didn't get some value out of the rat, either from a trade or something else. In his mind, June would never, ever, become a Jack and that wasn't even an option.
He watched it pick up each of the bugs and saw the panic on the leverets face. Good, he needed some good fear to start behaving. Maybe he could scare some sense into the damn thing. But he nearly sighed when he noticed the look of confusion as well. "The sand pit is down the garden path to the North."
He pointed and growled, damn thing would probably get lost. He moved to sit back against the tree on the southern edge of the garden.

Junjiro could've sworn Father-Master asked for the bugs! He replayed the scene in his mind to try to figure out exactly who was in the wrong here.
Would you like me to fetch you anything?
Go through the potatoes for bugs.
...even though Junjiro was obviously right (obviously, duh) Father-Master would hear nothing of it. He seethed with anger as he worked. He could just feel Father-Master standing over him, watching, lording his power over the leveret child. He twitched in surprise as not only did Father-Master speak to him, but... was almost kind?
...he... told him where the sandpit was? Junjiro was honestly expecting him to leave the leveret to get lost on his own. Then again, if I were to get lost, he would have nothing to gain from trading me. He went into a deep bow.
"Yes Master. Thank you, Master," and he turned to leave, bucket in tow.
--
Upon returning, Jun carried a dandelion with him. At the top of the hill, he blew the seeds off in the direction of the garden and dropped the stem on the ground before entering the Warren borders. His walk was a graceful, fluid motion, almost cat-like in the way his body flowed in the movement. It was the walk he'd found made his bindings not hurt, but it was also the walk he was forced to use around guests to pretend he was female...
You'll pay, Father-dear. Despite his dance-like walk, there was nothing but a brooding anger on his face. He entered the Warren and began plotting today's misery. Has Father-Master finished the door? If he has retired else where in the Warren perhaps Junjiro would break it again~
