[As Heilyn is no longer here, there is no longer a purpose for this thread. Sorry, no NPC RPs for j00]
You are walking through a rather nice part of town, very clean and very low crime. Out of the corner of your eye, you see a rather small, but strange looking store, resembling something of a dollhouse. Whether for amusement, disgust, curiosity, or because you like it, doesn't matter. You go in.
A rather frilly Highlander parakeet, bipedal, 5 of Diamonds, admires herself in a mirror behind the counter. She puts it down rather quickly when she notices that you've walked in. What little she is wearing is pink trimmed with white lace.
"Good day, my dearest!" she coos delicately at you, "Welcome to my humble little shoppe! Please look around! Prices are as marked, and if you break anything, you've bought it! I am Miss Amethyst, but you may call me Amy! Heehee!" No wonder she was still a "Miss".
However, looking around the shoppe, it is anything but humble. It is decorated in pastels and nearly every piece is displayed on some form of doily. It's almost as if this woman had not grown up past her childhood tea parties with her stuffed animals.
The store is dedicated to porcelain tea accessories (pots, cups, saucers) and glass trinkets. As you look around, you notice something rather odd. There is a corner of the store that is decorated completely differently from the rest of the store. Thoroughly plain, almost spartan, it's hard to tell whether the person who did this part of the room didn't care, or if they had absolutely no decorating sense. However, the items in this part of the store spoke for themselves.
Labeled as 'Raemblen Bog glasswares', masterfully created works of glass-based works. A 5' tall example of a stained glass window (for sale, installation not included) leaning up against the wall. Those unfamiliar with glass can still appreciate the beauty of the glass. Whether the rainbow sheen was only apparent in the glare, or marbled the glass, the uniqueness of these works inspires awe. Nothing like this has been known before. Those who know glasswork would be thoroughly impressed with the absolute mastery these items have been created. Not to mention the high quality of the material!
Dragonflies seems to be a popular motif as various gold and silver dragonfly trinkets with the rainbow glass for wings were scattered along the table. Other figures were present, as well as a tea pot or two decorated with a gorgeous rainbow-marbled glass glaze. They had a completely different flavor than the rest of the store. Wilder, is the best existing word you can come up with. Miss Amy pipes up.
"Oh, yes, that corner of the store belongs to my new tenet, Miss Lynny! She's an... odd one, to say the least," the slightest of twitches could be noticed, "but as you can see those products are just lovely, aren't they?! She'd be more than happy to help you... if she's here... She skulks about and comes and goes as she pleases..."
