 She needed a break from Torquehelm, as much as she felt at home in the region she just.... got a little bored with it sometimes. She put everything in order at home and had convinced a driver to bring her here to the Capitol. The Capitol had always been a good place for some social interaction, even if the most she usually got on her own was beign able to sit back and listen to the world go by. that was precisely why she was here in the park, she could hear the birds in the trees, the laughter of children playing and she could feel the sun on her skin ... it was lovely. When they'd arrived at the park she waved away the driver, assuring him that she'd be fine on her own and for him to meet her here in a few hours ... she needed a break from her staff as well. She wanted alone time, or just.... she didn't know... something different then the usual voices and activities in a day. She reached out and felt in front of her, taking a few steps forward before she felt the wood of the bench beneath her hand and there she sat, crossing one leg over the other like any lady should. She could smell the various, perfumed scents of several flowers. Was it springtime already? |

Menefer had been in the area around the gardens of the Capital. He was up too some good cooking for the passing stranger who would give him a few coin for his troubles. The food he would serve where quick things that didn't take too long and cost slightly cheaper than what he would have charged so he wouldn't break himself on his endeavors. Today was a rather good day and it was sunny and bright. The scents rolling off the flowers where heavenly to his nose. He was just in a lazy mood at this time. He really didn't feel like doing a thing again and just lay back and enjoy the place and all it contains. It was a really nice feeling to know that you could just sit back and relax and not worry about the world around. He padded his way up to a nearby bench and sat upon its low seat and pulled out several things that he had cooked and no one buying. It was some rather nice foods... they smelled great. The small cube steak that he had cooked with the largish salad tossed with plume tomatoes and many greens. He decided that he would eat it with thousand olive dressing and a pinch of pepper. Once pulled out did he see the human sitting across from him. He instantly knew that she was a Torque for having the white wings and the bindings placed. He smiled and called out to her. "Are ze hungry? I have a good bit of food to eat here, would ze join me?" |
