Another small update in the non-existence that is ku <3
They found out wot was wrong with my stomach Xd; Btw. Ku has - now hopefully /had/ - H. pylori > >; I have one more day's batch of pills. (Was on 4 big pills 2x a day for 10 days)
It was just recently (in the last week) decided that Ku is going to apply to University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Which she has and is waiting on the decision (yay open enrollment). Regardless of the decision (prays it is a yes) I am moving down there this August. That's right, 2 weeks after Con.
Currently working on the remainder of the college application stuff, finding somewhere to live on my own before my sister comes down in Feb (she's going to try for UL in the fall of '10), going to need to find a new job, etc, etc.
In a small, random rant -- Family (blood vs saltwater) are . . . being a word. A BIG word > <; The major reason for LA , other than the need for /that/ school, is that the roots are there. The roots however don't think the branch will be able to make it and seems to be blowing a wind in hopes of knocking said branch down.
So yar. Stuff. STRESS. And /one/ more college course. That last part ku's happy about. But yes . . . . It's taking it moment by moment right now.
Had my upper GI endoscopy today. It wasn't all that bad actually o O . . worse part was the IV and that went well. I think most of it had to do with the fact they had me up at 0600 so ku wasn't all that awake to begin with ^ ^;;
Anyway. They did find out wot is wrong with me! Yatta~!
Ku . . has a Hiatus Hernia. Xd; Not sure if it's the sliding or fixed one . . . was a little too groggy from the anesthesia. They also discovered I have some Gastritis (they believe from all the hard-core pain meds i have been taking) and I will find out the results in a week or two from the biopsy.
So new meds? no meds? . . . I don't remember XD Will have to ask mom.
So yeah. Ku's not completely dead. Just mostly. Putting myself on partial-no hiatus. Will try to be around more as the pain allows. So feel free to poke but I make no promises. <3333

The goal was not to have to do this but it failed. Miserably.

Currently, ish, there has been an increase in headaches - from like an average of 3 a week to every single day > <; I have an appointment sometime next week to see a doc officially, finally, about it.
On top of that my stomach is still not working properly > >; They have me on Nexium (24 hour pill) which ends up failing after about 6 hours so currently on a double dosage. Have an appointment first week of May to see a GI specialist about it. [Blood work came back with a negative for the positive we hoped for on the virus - positive would have been a 'simple' solution.]
For the knee problem Ku is being sent back to CrossRoads to be evaluated by the doc who did my surgery this time last year. It might be the knee cap = physical therapy, or it might be torn again. < <;;;
And because it's fun, during the appointment today we mentioned some other stuff that has been occurring over the years - in that Ku suffers from chronic pain of a good 5+ pain scale. The doc did some touch tests and says he thinks it might be/wants to rule out Fibromyalgia and RA (Rheumatoid Arthritis). So blood test were ordered and will take about 2 weeks to find the results.(Ku got a new guy when she went to give blood . . . that's an adventure and a story in itself < <;;
Currently on two dosages of Celebrex to see if that helps manage the pain without adding to the stomach problems.

So between glee-ing over NewbitSpawn and all of the meds and all of the pain Ku doesn't really have all that much brain power left over > >;;; It's been hard to focus on school work recently so SoD has been pushed even more to the side.
I fully plan on coming back, especially after this term is over a lot of the stress is going to lift. I am not sure if I am going on semi or full hiatus yet. Just . . . I am not really around right now T _ T Sorry for those I owe replies and I will still make them whenever my mind doesn't wonder for less than five mins > >;;;;;;;;

[UPDATE] - Ku does NOT have Lupus, Lyme, or RA X3 Good news! Still testing for Fibromyalgia since it is a rule out diagnosis. The Nexium seems to be working, as well as the Celebrex o _ O It is almost creepy to not be in pain . . . which I think might be a bad sign on how much I was in < <;;;
