About two weeks ago I got a new job and it has been handing me my ASS on a silver platter. I love it; I got overtime the very first week I worked. XD
I honestly didn't know it would affect my arpee time so much, otherwise I would have made a hiatus notice a long time ago. I'm slowly getting used to the new schedule, since I've been closing the store almost every day.
Please bare with me as I set up a new routine that includes the wonderful world of Suits of Decadence.....
....because I want you all to know I WILL NEVER EVER REALLY LEAVE HERE. Ever. I love it here way too damn much.
So now that things are starting to settle, I'm going to try and go back to being a good member again.
UPDATE: I'm getting into a schedule at work now, considering I'm the one who almost always closes the store. XD So I'm now coming back!!!
Bear with me as I try and respond to all of my overdue RP threads!

So far the job is pretty darn good. Easy work, but awesome hours. I work the night/closing shift so I go in at 6pm and don't leave until about 2am, or however long it takes me to clean the store after I close at 1am.
Posting here to reinstate that I'm STILL HERE.

Eh, the shine off the job will wear of shortly I'm sure but it's definitely better than the one I was working.
I JUST got over the most SEVERE case of tonsillitis I've ever had. I quite literally couldn't talk; I sounded like a deaf person trying to speak. I couldn't swallow without SEVERE pain and it just simply hurt to breathe.
My tonsils have been swollen for months now and I've had tonsillitis for that long, but I've been waiting to get insurance before having them removed. Now, I cannot wait any longer. Even though they are already swollen, they grew bigger and the right one was.....let's just say nasty. I took pictures, only to prove to my boss and coworkers how bad it was. [shudders]
Two days ago I went to the doctor and had to have an antibiotics shot straight into my hip, it was so bad. But that shot was the best thing that ever happened to me. By that night I could swallow with less pain! Did I mention by this time I hadn't been able to eat anything in over 36 hours? Not so bad really, but I hadn't been able to drink much either. Pretty sure I was getting dehydrated.
OH! Forgot to mention (my week has been busy), that I accidentally OD'ed on Vicodin the day before I got REALLY sick. Due to a stress/depression trigger I got the body aches in a BAD way. I took one 5/500mg every two hours, either three or four times. [shakes head] So on the same day as the doctor's visit I had my blood drawn to check my liver, just in case.
Gods, my kidneys and body hated me as I came down from the 'opium high'. Certainly didn't feel like a high to me.
I had a doctor's note excusing me from work until Monday, but we're constantly short staffed and being so new at the job I don't want to risk anything especially since I'm going to be the Assistant Manager. So I'm going back to work tonight. I can talk, eat, drink and breathe just fine again (minus the 'regular' swelling that I'm used to).
So even though I planned to come back shortly, it may take a few more days.
I wanted to name my new Bunny Brighid. Does any character already have that name?
EDIT: Oh, and Satra? Your signature freaks me out. XD
