He looks startlingly like the late Queen of Hearts, Serafino, though the differences are obvious to those who were close to him.
Basic Magical Ability
He can ignore moderate amounts of pain for up to 20 minutes.
Moderate Magical Ability
When activated, he gains an immediate proficiency with any weapon that he picks up. This can be activated and deactivated at will.
Strong Magical Ability
When activated, he can inflict mental pain on another card of the Suit of Hearts, once per day. The degree of pain is equivalent to that of a thick plank smacking the victim about the shoulders and head for a full minute.
Powerful Magical Ability
When activated, he can control the mind of a lesser Heart for up to one hour, once per week. The individual being controlled would know and the degree of control is nearly perfect with exception to the fact that, while in control, he causes them to bleed bright pink.
Moderate Ability
His face will continue to tingle for the remainder of the day...within the next few minutes, he will notice his sense of smell waning entirely...but his eyesight becoming oddly more focused, almost as though he can feel what people are about to do.
Once a week, he will now find himself able to catch a three second glimpse of what a person is about to do, mirror-imaged before them, directly before it happens.
He may not be able to do anything about it as it is such a short span, but it may help him dodge a lunge...perhaps further inspecting the paper will help...or hinder...
