It has been brought to my attention that people are having trouble calculating meeting points.
Meeting other Cards is calculated by whether or not your Card actually met the Card they want the points from.
For example: If your Card is at a party with the Queen of Spades, and is in some way acknowledged by her (be this a nod, glance, speaking to you, or something else that lets them know you're there) then the points are gained. However, if you are at the party talking to the Queen and a Jack is on the other side of the party and you never even see him/he doesn't know you're there. Then you have seen this Card, but not met them and do not get the points.
Please, fix some of your records as I have noticed some...problems, and feel free to add any words of wisdom you may have on the subject.
(Really. If you all think this is unfair, then we can try to work out a middle ground. Talk it out here <3)
Thanks, all.

Oooh, ooh, I have a little question about this... Parents and children/siblings. For example, Seth and Peaches's spawn. Would Seth get points for meeting Vaska and Falks without a thread? Or no? And if for some weird reason Vaska and Falks weren't rped together for a while, would they get points for having met each other?

Satra, dis fight's been brought!!! I'mma take you dooooown! D8<
Xenon: Good question. Parents get points for meeting their kids if they are around. For example: if Lior were to floaty-not-really-there impregnate someone now. Then float off to other parts unknown, then he does not get points for spawn happening where he won't be again. If the parents are together or near each other and the kids will be seen, automatic meeting points occur on both sides. Alternatively, if the kid is born and dumped and never knows their parents, they don't get points for said parents, though the parents get the points for them if they had to take them to give them away. If the kid is at least able to open its eyes, then yes, they can have meeting points <3 If no contact is made, no points occur.

Understood! <3 thanks for the clarification, that makes perfect sense.

I have a question about...official NPCs. Say someone has a thread with, like, Bernard or Cauter or someone like that...would they get meeting points or no, and would they get points for their posts in the thread? On a similar note...there is a topic. A person posts the topic and no one ever replies to it. Do they get the one point for making the opening post for that topic even if it goes ignored? Sorry if these aren't quite related. >>

Good questions, Lucca <3
Official NPCs are NPCs with pictures. You do get meeting points for them, yes indeed, and for the rest of the thread as well. Non-pictured NPC's do not give out meeting points and they do not gain points, but you get points for every post your official character makes.
If a topic is posted and no one ever replies, you do still get the opening point. Yep. 8)

Okay, good! ^^ Thanks! Reading what you said about NPCs before confused me slightly on those points, so it's good to have that cleared up.
