Seems silly to waste a perfectly good hiatus thread, so I figure I'll just reuse it! I'll be a little hard to reach for the next few days again. Today is my history final, which I'm not that concerned about, and tomorrow I hop on a bus and head for my parent's house! Wheeeeeee! Yeah, I'm excited.  So I'll see you all around when I get there. <3 Just for a few days. :3
It's almost mah birfday, so my parents are coming to visit for the weekend! EEEE! I'll probably be around in the evenings, but <3 I might be scarse for the next few days.

I'm sure you guys have all noticed that I've been getting more and more scarce as time goes on. I have a good excuse for it! I promise!
See, I've got a job while I'm here! I'm doing data entry recording names, emails, and addresses of people who have signed a petition to save the parks. It doesn't sound awful, but there are at least 1600 of them. At least, there were until this morning. Apparently, there are more sheets that haven't been tallied yet, but I am assured that they'll be coming my way soon. 1600 is a lot. It really is. Especially when you have to decipher at least a fourth of them because they're just... scribbles. Did I ever tell you guys how much I /love/ completely illegible handwriting?
Anyway, the end result of all of this is that lately I've been pretty tired when I get home and haven't always felt like getting right back onto the computer. I know I've been bad, I'll try to get back on the ball soon <3 After all, I miss you!
The upside of this all is that I'm getting paid big bucks to do it, so I'll have lotsa money for the con. :3

I did some data entry for a neighbor once x3 It was painnnfulll. I especially loved the people that checked "contact me" but didn't put an address, phone number or email address! TELEPATHY!!! Have fun with your 16 billion names! |
