ID ♥ SD050 Name ♥ Severus Suit ♥ Hearts Rank ♥ Jack Gender ♥ Male Animal ♥ Deer/Serpent Region ♥ Corvistowne/Avington Lineage ♥ Silvanus x OpheliaNotesHe is an odd mix with a horrible secret. Natural born tens are extremely rare. This would be the favorite child of most Card families. He has a secret that he has never told anyone. He is likely never to tell it, even to any future mates he has. Only time will tell what it actually is, and if he will dare to tell anyone willingly. AbilitiesBasic Magical AbilityHe can ignore moderate amounts of pain for up to an hour. Moderate Magical AbilityHe gains an immediate proficiency with any weapon that he picks up. This can be activated and deactivated at will. Strong Magical AbilityWhen activated, he can inflict mental pain on another card of any suit, once per day. The pain feels like acid slowly peeling back skin. Powerful Magical AbilityWhen activated, he can control the mind of a lesser Heart for up to one hour, once per week. The individual being controlled would know and the degree of control will enable him to wipe the minds of cards 6 and lower, they will not know what happened. Jack's AbilityHe is nigh on impossible to poison. Simply smelling the contents of a container of liquid or smelling/feeling the texture of foods or clothing allows him intimate knowledge of what went into it. A poisoned blade could bring him down, or perhaps poisoned bedsheets O__o but any other method of poisoning is nearly laughable to him. This ability also allows him a fair knowledge of poisons and potions. Perhaps not as many as some Kings, but certainly more than most. King's AbilityHe is now able to summon a thin, intricately carved wand from the center of his chest completely at will. It's so dark a brown that it's nearly black with shots of silver around the base, like broken glass. It's about eleven inches long and currently possesses the power to make any object that weighs a pound or less come whizzing to his side should he need it. He can do this to objects up to fifty feet away, and as often as he likes. The wand has the ability to gain more power with more points, however and it will glow dully should he think about it. Please Note: The information listed below is extra information concerning this character's stats. While this may be used for reference or for a detailed look into the characters personality, in no way does that mean that this is exactly how the character thinks or acts. The information could be completely inaccurate. Please take that into consideration when you are looking for information about this character before you roleplay with them.Hearts: The Claw [/u] Hearts are a bit rarer in society, and are also the most revered. For parents to receive a Heart as a child is a blessing and a delight, as the child will probably bring them power that they do not have. The ferocity and short temper of the Suit is legendary, but not necessarily true for all in the Suit. Hearts have a tendency towards recklessness and wildness in their actions, though their ability to muster power at the snap of their fingers is most assuredly true and remarkable. It serves them well as the most feared and respected of the Suits. The symbol of the Hearts, the Claw, is most fitting, as there is nothing more brutal than to be hit in the face with something sharp; be it their wit, their magic, or their fist, the experience won't be pleasant. Hearts tend to delight in the fact that they are represented as ruthless and unkind. Some of them feel that power cannot truly be gained with kindness, though others resent the fact that their friendships are all superficial and that their lovers are all two-faced. They may attempt to make themselves seem different. Jacks[/u] Most Jacks are content to be Jacks; they get a good amount of power with little to no responsibility along with it. They are generally required in Court to deliver important messages and to carry out easy tasks that the higher-ups don't want to bother with. The work is easy, the living is good, and the responsibilities can be foisted on the Tens below them. Some Jacks, however, especially traditionalists, refuse to remain in the rank because of the title. The title, "Jack", is also shared by one of the Other Courts, the Jack's Court, of rabbits. Some Jacks find that sharing this title with rabbits is demeaning and will move up to King as soon as possible to avoid association with the stigma. Hooved Mammals and ReptilesThe Hoofed Mammals are a bit harder to find about the countryside than some of the other breeds. They tend to stay away from watery Realms and favor hard-packed ground over which they are excellent sprinters. They are usually in the forms of deer, horses, and gazelles, though others have been spotted. It is extremely difficult to locate a reptile. They are considered to be cunning and magical forms, and parents are usually excited to receive one. They can live in any Realm, though they prefer the Marshes and forests, and usually appear as either small lizards or snakes. Avington and CorvistowneResidents are usually emerald green with cream and pale blue winding across their spine in a tree-like marking. They often sport antlers. The inhabitants of Avington are regarded as being beautiful by most other realms. Even the Lowlanders find themselves envious of the delicate appearance. Avington is a heavily forested region, deep and secret; few who are not of Avington have ever been able to see their actual city. It is hidden deep within the heart of the trees. Each Avington dweller possesses one secret; they will not divulge it unless they feel they have to, but they may tell their mates or close friends. If the secret is pulled from an Avington unwillingly, the tree on their back will become blackened and dead. Residents are usually black with gold eyes and electric and/or neon colored patterning in erratic stripes, splashes, and/or circles. Those who hail from Corvistowne are an odd bunch. They tend to be erratic in behavior and excessively creative. Most members consider themselves to be inventors of some sort, and they are not above experimenting on other members...or on themselves. Corvistowne members are usually quite intelligent, though they may lack common sense in the way they view the world. The town itself is poorer than most, with many buildings appearing dilapidated and poorly cared for. If one can worm their way into the confidence of a member, they may be able to bear witness to the underground labs of Corvistowne. Many are small and cramped; those with power in Corvistowne have setups that are rumored to make the Queen of Hearts slightly nervous. [/center]
