The former mouse was, physically fine, but the changes were not all that she'd wanted. She had lost her distinctive rodent appearance, among other things, in order to (partially) achieve her desire. She felt tainted, almost, knowing that the changes had contaminated her purity, and that the same contamination could be passed to her offspring.
Nevertheless, even she could see that she was fluffier, her tail was no longer as worm-like, and plain, not to mention, she felt, prettier, although her limbs were no longer. And that was just scratching the tip of the iceberg, as far as the changes were concerned.
She noted Ophelia's prescriptions, which she definitely would want to have made up at the nearest chemist's, as she left, and the doe's heartening words. Prehaps another splice would grant her heart's desire...
But at what price? She didn't know, and she wasn't sure if she would be willing to pay that price. She shivered.
