The Jack screamed. Where the hell had the little whelp gotten off to? He had sent the boy on a simply errand to deliver a gift to the Czar and he could of sworn that the leveret should have been back by now. Anubis stormed through his Warren and it's outer gardens while yelling the leverets name.

Of all the times for the thing to disappear. It was getting close to the time of the soiree at the Jack Remington's Warren, and he needed to find him. He fully intended to drag his son along to the festivities, hoping a Jack would take pity on him and make a trade of some sort. At least if June acted as he normally did Anubis could just not mention a gender and hope the other Jack involved thought they were getting a girl.

In the garden Junjiro stretched and curled happily into a ball around his new pet. He could never before remember being happy... and liking it. He always found some way to get in trouble or make himself miserable again, but this little Mome Wrath... around it he felt safe being happy for once. He snuggled his face against the cuddly ribcage of the bone creature and sighed contently. After a pause He turned his head to look at the creature's skull.

"What should I call you?" he wondered out loud. It turned it's skull around to look back at him. It made a small 'clak' noise when it opened its mouth in what Junjiro assumed to be a smile. This thing had been so much a part of him it had been hard to name it. The name had to be special. Had to be perfect. It was more than just a pet. It was the Leveret's first real friend. Fucking emo.

The Rabbit gave a start. FUCK! Master was coming! He had to hide his new pet or surely that son of a bitch would destroy or trade it away. He couldn't bear the thought of it. He quickly threw a bucket of dirt upside down over the creature to hide it, then went out to greet Anubis.

"Yes, Master, I'm here." He tried to stay nonchalant, trying not to think of what would happen if Master found his new secret. "What services do you require of me?"

Finally, he had found the boy. He felt the muscles between his shoulder blades beginning to tighten. For some reason the now grown leveret always had this effect on him, and it only seemed to get worse with age. As soon as Jun was within sight he tore into him.

"I sent you DAYS ago to deliver a . . ." But something stopped him dead in his tracks. Anubis froze, staring at the boys wrists, nostrils flaring.

"Did. . . did you remove your bindings?"

He wasn't sure what to think. He had placed those bindings upon the leveret himself. The adult male couldn't decide whether he was proud, or insulted. On one hand, he had ripped off his own bindings the day he became a Jack. Perhaps Jun would make something of himself yet.

Anubis shifted a little to his other foot and made a small move forwards before stopping. He'd wait for the boy's answer before inspecting the wounds.
