When the feline put her face so close to her own those ears of hers slid backward, but not all the way to her skull. She was certain, especially after the earlier snarl, that the feline was going to kill her dead right in the street for being such a pathetic waste of.. .well, space? Oxygen? Everything... However, she didn't even raise a paw at her, she was giving her directions. She did indeed listen, even if her features adopted that very canine trait of 'puppy dog eyes.'
Well, this should be fun to try. She wiggled her toes a moment, seeing if they were there or not, and they were of course. She flicked one ear forward and peered down at her front paws, tensing her muscles for a moment before relaxing as her mind fished for the proper course of action to take. Her other ear came forward and she repeated the previous subtle action only this time movement accompanied it. Using her paws she slowly pushed her front half up off the ground, dull claws clicking against the cobblestones in the process. This brought her up to sit in a rather awkward position, and partially on her tail which was bent at an uncomfortable angle, but that was relatively easy.
It was her hind end that didn't want to cooperate. She rocked forward, putting most of her weight on her forepaws for a moment before almost hopping on to her back ones, which bent slightly and quivered in protest to such a sudden change which lead to her spreading out all four of her paws and standing there in a rather forced up rightness. Her tail seemed to lose it's little bit of happiness as well and, while it wasn't tucked, it just hung there almost touching the street, almost.

Lariel watched the canine move with a glacial pace and rolled her eyes, twitching her whiskers in irritation. This was going to take forever. At this rate the dog would be run over before she could get her moved out of the way. The feline took a few deep and calming breaths and instantly felt better. The clicking of the dog's nails on the hard gravel below them sounded off the nearby buildings. It seemed so loud a noise compared to the hushed conversation.
Once the Card was able to stand on all fours, the site was so comical Lariel had to turn her head to keep from laughing. Wobbly was a generous way of describing how this creature stood. Resigned herself to fate, the bobcat stood next to the dog.
"Lean on me. It will make walking easier." Short of getting underneath the canine, there was little else she could do. "Are you ready? We'll start moving on three."

She watched the cobblestones for a moment, trying to collect some sort sense of balance and in doing so completely missed it as the feline looked away as to not laugh. Had she laughed, well, the canine probably would've been further saddened because, really, no one liked being laugh at. But the kitty didn't laugh, and the canine didn't feel any worse then she already did. She was also swiftly discovering that she was developing a rather nasty headache and her ears drooped. The only way, at this point, that the canine could have looked any more pathetic would have been if she were also soaking wet.
When she spoke her head turned back toward Lariel and it took her a moment to truly realize what she wanted. Oh, well, she could probably do that.... she wasn't entirely sure though. Carefully she moved a bit closer to the feline before leaning herself up against the sturdy kitty. She was built more like a domesticated dog then a wolf so her bulk wasn't what it could have been, but she was, indeed, still larger then the bobcat. She did, however, see it fit to pick her head up a bit and nuzzle under the feline's chin mostly in thanks.

Lariel watched the trepidation cross over the canine's eyes and held back a sigh of agitation. At least she was still upright; that was something to be thankful for. Hopefully the both of them would be able to stay that way. The bobcat braced for the dog's added weight but was still pushed sideways. Bracing her paws against the cold cobblestones beneath them, Lariel shoved some of her weight back to the middle of their odd pile.
The bobcat nearly dropped under the weight when the canine surprised her by nuzzling at her. The dog's nose was cold but wet against her chin and her instinctive reaction was to stiffen at the unfamiliar display of affection, however innocent it was. Still undecided on what her reaction should be, Lariel twitched her whiskers and unbristled her fur as much as possible.
"Alright, we'll erm...go on three. One....Two...." Lariel braced herself for the heave she knew the canine would be instigating in the next few seconds. If they could just get walking the had part would be over.
"Three!" The bobcat shoved forward, hoping the dog was going with her.

Standing was perfectly fine and she didn't want to move really, knowing it'd be a chore to do so anyhow. And was there really a point in going anywhere? No really, no, the cobblestones were a perfectly good place for her to be... but the feline wasn't going to just let her lay there it seemed. No, she wasn't laying anymore, she was on her paws and the cat was trying to get her to move. Well that was just fantastic, she almost wanted to sigh, especially when she began counting.
She missed the bristled reaction to her nuzzle, but it was simply because she'd been looking at her paws and wondering. She couldn't' feel her toes at present, could she move them? She wiggled her toes experimentally and sure enough, they moved, strange. Whatever.... oh, the kitty had counted to three hadn't she? She'd have to move now, she knew it. She twitched her muscles bringing forward one front paw and then the next, easy enough, it was her hind legs that gave her a bit of trouble though.
She nearly stumbled a few times, her hind legs seeming to refuse not to get tangled up with each other, but after a bit she got used to the whole walking thing. She still needed to lean against the feline, but her limbs began to cooperate. Something did, however, cross her mind and thus she'd take on a mildly inquisitive tone when she spoke to Lariel.
Where are we going?

Lariel grunted with the effort as she tried to guide the faltering steps of not only herself but that of the drugged canine. Her muscles screamed in protest at trying to support a weight heavier than hers, but she'd already started this so she might as well finish it.
Surprisingly enough, within a few moments the Card's legs seemed to recall their purpose and the two of them, the spectacle that they were, began moving with less effort. Taking this blessed relief off her muscles, Lariel focused on guiding them to safety. The road wasn't that long, but at this speed and the speed of any other Card that might at any moment come meandering down the road without regard to anyone else, the bobcat didn't feel like taking chances.
A full sentence? Lariel couldn't hide the small hope that perhaps the drugs effects were waring off and she'd be able to disentangle herself from this mess once they reached the other side. "We're going to the sidewalk, right in front of us. It's only about ten more steps or so," she answered, her tone definitely a bit more relaxed now that action had been taken.
After a minute, though what seemed like an eternity, the two of them reached the sidewalk on the other side of the road. Lariel guided the female to lean against the brick building in front of them. "I wouldn't lay down again. In fact, I wouldn't stay out here. I suggest you go home if it's close enough." Even though she didn't want to potentially open up another can of worms, she couldn't help but ask, "Where do you live?"

Using the feline as a support she cheerfully strode along beside her, wiry tail swaying side to side idly as she did ... she was feeling rather... happy at the moment even though she really had no reason to be. It was a fantastic feeling and she was just about to start humming before the feline piped up about sidewalks. Why was she talking about sidewalks? Oh! The realization was a little late and she stumbled over the little rise with her front paws, but managed just fine with the hind set. That kind of... hurt her toes but she really didn't mind right now.
The brick she was suddenly leaning against was cool against her side and she turned her head to regard the textured stone for a moment before the feline was once again speaking. She tilted her head to the side ever so slightly, a goofy little grin spreading over her muzzle. At the feline's last question, however, she looked away and scanned the area slowly...
You know ... I really have no idea. Where are we?

Lariel felt the awkward increase in weight as the drugged up canine stumbled over the lip of the sidewalk. If this stranger had fallen directly on her, Lariel would have shimmied from underneath her and left the damn woman to fend for herself. Since the second set of legs seemed to have less trouble than the first, Lariel carefully guided her to lay against the wall of whatever building they had stopped in front of.
The Bobcat's one eyebrow rose as she watched the Card regard the texture of the brick at eye level. Lariel really wouldn't put it past the crazy to start licking the damn thing. Her moment of gratitude that she didn't was short lived, as soon as the other opened her mouth.
"You don't even know where you are?!" Lariel shouted, nearly startling herself with her voice echoed back at her from a nearby alley. The feline snarled, the hair on the back of her neck rising. "You really do have a death wish, don't you?"
Thinking the canine's eyes seemed a little hazy, and not wanting this lunatic to pass out on her, Lariel spared no strength has she guided her paw in a hard slap against the side of the woman's face. Watching the pupils slowly come to focus on her, Lariel spoke slightly lower and spaced out her words so none could be missed.
"We..are..in..the..Capitol. Do..you..live..in..the..Capitol?" Repetition was key.
