Knock.... Knock. Knock.Grunt. Groan. "Open the door already!"Startled awake, the Solandrian blinked blearily until his eyesight cleared up. Sitting up from his nest of blankets, he glanced around at his mostly empty apartment before landing on his only clock, which said 8:17. This was entirely too early for him, but no matter, for he knew why he'd been woken up at such an ungodly hour. Yesterday, he'd gone to market, finally purchasing things to put in his apartment...like a bed. Yeah, a bed would be wonderful. Eh, he was getting off topic. Ambling over to the door, he opened it, looking at the person beyond, who quickly informed him all of his things were outside the apartment, ready to be brought up. And then the guy left, just like that. Nikoli frowned. He was expected to carry everything up himself? Groaning, he moved out into the hallway and to the stairway, going down. His apartment was on the third floor, so he'd only have to go up two sets of stairs. Thank goodness for small miracles. Making it to the bottom floor, he glanced at the things still wrapping in their protective packaging: pieces of a bed, meant to be put together; a small shelf; a box full of books; a table and two chairs; and finally a decorative rug. Now...he just had to move everything before it got too hot for him to do much heavy labor...

Zuberi rarely came into the residential side of town, but today was a rare day she found herself taking a stroll through the high apartment buildings that housed countless Cards that made their life in the city. Occasionally she had toyed with the idea of getting an apartment herself so that she could have a place to stay while she was in town. With how infrequently she came to the Capital though, it seemed like it would be a serious waste of her money. Still though, some of those apartments could be so glamorous! Finally she paused, Solandrian colors catching her eye. Maybe it was a reflex to pay more attention to when she saw those colors because of the Solandrians she knew. It was evident though, that she didn't know this person. She was about to continue walking when she noticed the huge amount of stuff at the foot of the stairs, and back at the perplexed look of the feline. It wasn't hard to put two and two together. Blame it on the fact that she was a small town girl, or maybe just blame it on the fact that she was an all around nice soul, but she found herself approaching the creature with a kind smile. "Need help moving? Couldn't help but notice you were jus' standin' dere scratching yer head." Well, that was a figure of speech but.. yeah.

(I'm going to assume she's in biped form, otherwise my post will have to be redone. ^^; )
At the sound of a voice, Nikoli turned around, looking at the card who had offered her help. The first thing she noticed was that she was a biped. The second thing he noticed was that she was from Midori Beach, since he'd only seen one other card from there before. Not wanting to make a list in his head, he limited it to a third thing, which would be her smell. Really, he could have sworn he could smell the ocean wafting off of her.
Pulling his thoughts away from things he noted about her, he instead focused finally on her words. "Eh, I just didn't realize that the guy who brought me the things would simply dump them here for me. I was hoping to get everything in before it got too hot." he said with a shrug, looking up at her. "It also doesn't help matters that I am located on the third floor."

((Doh! She is XD I forgot to post her picture. *will go and add later* ))
Her smile was pleasant enough, listening to his predicament with a nod. When he mentioned the third floor though, her expression immediately slackened to a thoughtful frown, her gaze looking up the flight of steep stairs. Did she really want to haul furniture up that far? No... but she wasn't about to leave him high and dry when he obviously needed assistance.
"Oh, aye. The weather isn't too forgiving for someone with as thick a coat as you." She glanced back up to the third floor, as if considering something. "... Well, I'd certainly go to his boss if I were you..."
But enough stalling. The squirrel clapped her hands together and rubbed them, looking at the spread of objects that needed hefting. She glanced at his rank and suit. "A spade, eh? Running won't do you good carrying... Oh well! I say we hurry up before the noonday sun comes up!" Well... it seemed obvious the squirrel was willing to help. Then she paused, giggling a bit when she realized she hadn't even introduced herself yet.
"Here I am, talking about getting to work and I haven't even told you my name! I'm Zuberi." Moving closer, she extended her webbed hand to him to shake.
