About Commissions

Hey guys,

I know that everyone's really excited for what they ordered, and I know it seems like it's taking forever for me to get to them.

I will work on them as often and quickly as possible, but I really have limited time due to law school. My schedule is rather mortifyingly insane and it's only going to get worse as I get closer to the end of the semester.

I've already had some people expressing concern as to why theirs hadn't even been started yet. It isn't a show of favoritism to those whose have been started, it isn't my putting things off and trying to get around working by doing other things. Many of the SD ordered are incredibly complicated and I'm literally trapped in a school building for upwards of 8 hours a day, without access to my drawing utensils or (usually) even a computer for more than half an hour.

I'm sorry things are taking so long. To the people asking why I haven't taken their money or their order lists yet, it's because I may not be able to get to your orders for a few months. I tried to cut down on what people could order this Otakon, but people still seem to have managed to get a massive amount of creatures each and I only have about 30 minutes to an hour to spend on art every other day.

I'm really very sorry. If anyone would like a refund, please just ask, and I'm happy to help you (it may take awhile for me to grab the funds, but I will get them).

To those who have complained, I am, again, very sorry. I really can't move any faster than I am, and I apologize.

To the rest of you, thank you for your patience. I'm getting through what I can.

i know that i haven't expected any start on many of the commissions for quite awhile because you are so insanely busy; i hadn't even thought about how complicated some of them were! We'll start beating up anyone who complains, m'kay? Ira would love to help, and i'm sure quite a few of the ghosts would as well. >3

Keep on trucking, but i'm sure those of us who stop to think for a bit will remember that you need to make your schooling priority. <3 Those of us who are also artists will also gladly back you up on the fact that sometimes it's difficult to catch a particular character on the first try. <3

We know you are doing a fabulous job and even if it seems long to us, from your end, there's just not enough time to get everything thrown out quickly, especially since you always make it a point to do such a phenomenal job. <3 We love you, Nat!!! Don't stress!! *fluffs*

... I'm just sorry that someone went so far as to -complain-.

Having worked on commissions in the past, I know that sometimes you have to.. "jump around" your queue when particular characters are being difficult to draw. It's not favoritism, it's about putting your muse to work where it wants to go, and this technique ends up giving quality work to -everyone- because you can work where you are inspired to do so.

So if you feel you need to take a break from it so you don't burn yourself out... I don't blame you. I don't blame you at all.

And -definitely- take your time on my baby XD As badly as I want to see the kidthing... I'm also having a -wicked- time rping Zub preggo. No worries... I have several in game months worth of rping to do. She's in no hurry to spit out that kid at all. XDDDD

Me thinks you need some nice, warm, relaxing tea and a hot bubble bath with some relaxing oils .... all work and no relaxation will frazzle you faster and we certainly don't want that <3
