Spade Rank Abilities
Basic Magical Ability: He can run up to 40mph in sprints and 20mph for up to an hour in extended runs.
Moderate Magical Ability: When activated, he can see black-and-white clearly in the dark. This can be activated and deactivated at will. Should he look at a moderate to bright light with this ability activated, however, he will experience intense pain and be left with a splitting headache for up to one day.
Strong Magical Ability: When activated, he can create up to two gallons of drinking water up to three times per day.
Powerful Magical Ability: When activated, he can call forth and dismiss a small familiar that is unique to the individual.
Jack's Ability: Once a week, he is able to pull a small, rather intricate, gold pocket watch from his coat and force an opponent's limb (he may only choose one) to repeat any motions it has made in the last seven hours very quickly, and without the owner's control. This should last up to anywhere from 5 to ten minutes. The pocket watch vanishes when anyone but himself attempts to touch it.
Other Abilities:
Small Ability: Once a day, he is able to cause someone to itch dreadfully around their neck for half an hour. After this time has passed they will see that the reason for the itching is a fine collar of freshly grown white feathers. These will molt over the course of the remainder of the day, leaving a rash for another two days before healing.
Moderate Ability: This man is able to smell gold, quite literally. He can tell which Clubs have abilities that let them mold and work with the stuff, without asking, and his eyes appear to have changed to a bright golden color that light up whenever the metal is within 10 feet of him. Once a week, he is able to change one pound of any material into gold, regardless of whether the material is currently or was alive at one point...
Cane Ability: Once a week, he can shoot a jet of extremely hot steam from the end of the cane. The force alone is enough to bowl most Cards ranked 8 and below over backwards and the heat is enough to leave nasty scarring in the area on any Cards not ranked Queen or Joker.

ID: ST053 Name: Gyro Gender: Male Breed: Slithey Tove Notes: This strange little Tove seems to have been created from bits of wire, though it is very much alive... Its head glows like a light bulb when happy and it makes soft whirring, clicking noises as it moves. Once a day, it is able to shoot an enormous bolt of electricity at an opponent. Its aim is incredibly accurate. White Jade Lamp: This lamp lights at once when so much as brushed with an odd light that sucks the definition out of the area 20 feet around it. Everything becomes oddly blurred and things closest to it almost seem to vanish into the background. The lamp itself is carved from a nearly translucent material that feels like cold stone, but shines like an opalescent stone. About the size of a Human hand and shaped like a Beta fish, it's really quite beautiful. The lamp does not need to be plugged in to function and will light once a week at its owner's command. When lit, the area 20 feet around it loses its distinction and becomes unreal and faded looking. Anything directly touching the lamp becomes, not invisible, but almost impossible to notice with how well it blends into the background. The lamp will remain lit for a full 5 minutes each week. Small Gold Coin: Odd, this doesn't look like the casually used currency, it's quite pretty and has an image of a Tiger's head on one side, and a strange building on the other. It tingles slightly to the touch and once it makes contact with the SD it will grant a power (though only to one SD or Rabbit). Once a week, the SD is now able to cause a victim of any Rank except for Queen and Joker, to begin babbling nonsense words. Though their minds still operate just fine, they will not be able to communicate their actual thoughts as their mouths have almost literally run off without them. The things they say will be utterly ludicrous and sometimes incriminating... Best hope they know how to keep themselves in check or they might incur the wrath of someone they don't want upset... This spell does not affect mental communication should the victim be capable of it.

Highlands: Residents are usually white with swirls of gold and red slash-like markings. Some can have either one marking or the other instead of both, but that is a rare happening.
Many consider the Highlands to be the most beautiful Realm in the world to date. Lush, rolling meadows, rich fields, thin stretches of forest, distant mountains, and quaint brooks make the Highlands one of the most respected and idolized Realms in which to work and trade. The residents of the Highlands tend to hold themselves in equally high regard and they are often respected, no matter the rank, if that is where they hail from. It is rumored that those from the Highlands are destined for greatness, and they are often groomed from birth to think so. The Highlands actually border the Courts and even overlap a bit into the Court of Hearts. Many have regarded the Hearts Court as the Highland Court for quite some time, though others have ruled there. Those of the Highlands rarely leave and will often sneer at the thought of breeding with anything other than another Highlander, though they have been known to deign to make love to Avingtons and Yarrows without too much fuss. Highlanders tend to despise those who hail from the Lowlands, as indeed many do, with nearly as much hatred as the Josggiy Marsh dwellers, despising the vague tie to them as “counterparts”. Also, according to the research of one Bernard, all Highlanders are allergic to sunflower oil to some degree.
Morganberry: Residents are usually a shaded combination of reds, oranges, yellows, pinks, and blues in the guise of a sunset. Manes are very common, as are fiery tempers.
Those who live in Morganberry are, overall, an unsatisfied bunch. The land is fruitful, but not to the level of those who surround them, namely Josiggy Marsh and the Highlands. The residents of Morganberry are commonly seeking ways to escape its borders into the Courts, Capital, or Highlands. They are often obsessed with boosting their rank and image, many of them desiring to become a face card and gain some power. Many residents are taught from childhood to make lofty goals and then accomplish them as best they can, parents often pitting siblings against one another for affection to better condition them for the real world. Most other Realms will not hesitate to hire a Morganberry because of the intensity with which they will often apply themselves to their work. They are valued in the Courts and are found almost everywhere as a result. Those who have gained power from Morganberry tend to get a bit drunk with it, however, and people are cautious around them due to their constant need and greed for more. Many residents have a bit of a fiery temper and it will flare up in situations where it looks as though they will not reach their goal, be that: a new job, a love interest, or a home on 2nd street in the Capital.
Birds: Birds are seen fairly often across the Realms. They are a far cry from hard to find, yet slightly rarer than a Feline or Canine. They are usually found outside of the Marshes, which they tend to despise, and will often roost in the Highlands until chased out by the residents. Birds can be anything from predatory to a common sparrow.
Spades: The Paw
Spades are the second most common Suit, though unlike Clubs they can only occur in a breeding if one of the parents is a Spade. Spades are quick on their feet and reliable as far as their representation in Court proceedings and their tendency to follow the rules laid out for them. Spades are still not seen as being what one would desire in society; though they are above the Clubs, they are still of the same color and are often mocked by others of higher ranking. Higher up Spades, mostly face cards, are treated with the same respect that anyone would give to a ruler, and aren't frowned upon in the other Courts because of their noble rank.
Their representation, the Paw, refers to both their fleetness of foot and their general personality. They tend to be "soft" in their punishments and treatments of the lower class. They are therefore represented with that symbol, as opposed to one more closely representing weaponry.
