Aima watch as Parsley put the money on the table and wrapped up his sandwich, and she suddenly found herself wishing she knew what else Glaz had said or done before Aima ran into them to cause him to react in such a way. It was already bad, but there must have been more to it.
"It was a pleasure to meet you as well, take care and good luck on your work," she replied bowing her head. Maybe she'd meet him again when he wasn't in such a rush to get away. Who knows? Aima wasn't sure when she'd return to Corvistowne once she got the the Capital. Then as he wished her luck she couldn't help but laugh and mumble a thanks in return. She would have thanked him outright, she was sure she'd need the luck, but she didn't want Glaz getting all curious as to why she'd laughed and thanked him.
When she turned her attention back to Glaz she noticed him finish his salmon and.. shove the knife into the table. She startled and reached over to the knife with both her paws and pulled it out. "Just a bit of advice. People in the cities don't go around stabbing knives into tables. You just set them down... flat. Otherwise people are going to look at you as a threat and you're going to have a lot more problems. Not to mention this table isn't yours."
She chugged the rest of her tea, set the cup down on the table, and stood up with him. "Yeah, let's get out of here before they realize what you did to their table." She lead them out of the building. Once outside she lead him through the twists and turns through Corvistowne until she arrived at her current residence: an apartment in a building that looked like it was ready to fall over. First she warned him not to touch anything inside, and then led him in.
The entire room was simple, really. No knickknacks or trinkets could be found anywhere, no pieces of art of anything musical. The ceiling and walls were white. The carpet at one point may have been white but now looked gray with various blackened stains that could have been caused by any number of things, whether by Aima or the current owner. The only stand out thing in the room was a wooden table with papers and notebooks scattered all over it. So by "don't touch anything" she meant "stay away from the table."
"Stay in here, I'll go get some of the boxes and a few things. Then we'll go by my lab and get the rest of them.." Not that she'd actually let him in her lab. That would be hazardous for her work.
