"I always seem to have the worst of luck."Now, just who was complaining on a fine morning such as this? It was a beautiful day. The sky was blue and the sun was merrily shining. Yet Nikoli seemed to sport his own personal rain cloud. Actually, it looked as if the rain cloud had dumped everything it had upon the poor Solandrian. The feline was totally drenched, looking utterly ridiculous. Not to mention that since his coat was so thick, it was take hours for it to dry out. Nikoli had been simply minding his own business when he is suddenly soaking wet. Seemed as if someone had emptied a bucket of water out of their window without first checking to make sure no one was there. Yes, Nikoli did have wonderful luck, didn't he? mumbling profanities under his breath, the feline continued on. Well, on the bright side, he'd at least not get hot for a while.

Lucio was walking down the street of Capital City, his wings folded against his body to ensure the hooks did not snare any of the other pedestrians. Sidestepping a couple of cards who were immersed in their own company, he was just in time to see a poor feline get splashed out of seemingly nowhere. Looking closer at the poor soul, they seemed to be from one of the newly discovered regions. Taking a few steps closer, Lucio noticed that the majority of the people just spread out to avoid the now-soaked feline. Trotting over, Lucio meant to ask if there was anything he might do to help. He was sure to stand a couple of feet back though. It would not be the first time his inquires were unwanted, or landed him in a spot of trouble. " Ah..hello there. I don't mean to sound terribly rude, but I happened to notice your mis-hap. Is there anything I might do to help?"

Throwing a sour look over his shoulder, Nikoli eyed the person brave enough to come close to him. Deciding that he only had good intentions, he relaxed. Shaking his fur out a little, he sat, trying not to get the heart wet.
"Well, if you knew someplace where I might dry off, you could very well help me." he said with a small shrug, trying to act as if he was perfectly dry and not at the moment resembling a wet rat. Well, he wasn't succeeding very well. Despite his pleasant expression, he still looked miserable. He wasn't designed to be wet, since his fur was meant to keep melted snow out. However, it simply couldn't handle a dousing of water. To Nikoli, it was decidedly uncomfortable, so if this person could help him, the feline would be in his debt.
Gods! He could feel the water trickling down his spine... shudder.

Seiga had just arrived in the capital and was looking for a certain medical supply shop, but was getting himself terribly lost. It seemed as though he was going around in circles, it all looked the same to him...Different from Corvistowne. Aside from the fact that he was surrounded by all kinds of odd creatures, he had almost been soaked by a bucket of water, but side stepped at the last moment. Unfortunately, a very foreign card had been soaked in his place. It seemed as though this odd card was not listening to his rambling on about how sorry he was, but rather he was cursing straight up and down. He jumped back as the very wet, very hairy feline shook his coat to a fluff. He noticed another musteltid to his left offering his assistance. Seiga very wearily stepped forward to offer his help also, but remaining cautious aswell.

Noticing the Corvistownian heading over, it took all he had for Lucio to surpress the look of nausiousness on his face, and quell the tremors that wanted to rush over his body. He really had nothing against those from that region. Some of them indeed did marvouls work and made great strides in science and medicane. And he appreciated a lot of it..even if some of their methods were a bit...shady. He just really really did not like needles. In himself or others.
Turning back to the feline, he tilted his head in thought. "Hmm. I'm just passing through myself. But if memory serves there is a pub just up the road that had a nice fireplace. Perhaps we could head over there and you could dry out, and mabey order a pint or two, eh?" In his quick thinking to try and offer assistance, Lucio failed to realise that sitting by a fire probably would not be all that intersting to the thick haird feline.
Hateing to be rude, Lucio looked over to the other mustilid. Trying his best to not show his discomfort, he continued "You very nearly met with the same fate, by what I saw, but it seems you managed to stay nice and dry. A shame that stroke of luck couldent have been shared by all."

"No, actually, that happened last week. You see, as I was leaving Corvistowne, I was soaked, except that that was formaldehyde...Quite disgusting. I never did like the stuff, especially the smell. That's one of the reasons I never went into the disecting field. Brave souls they are...Actually a swim would be quite nice in this heat..." He rambled on for a couple more minutes, not noticing the jibe aimed at him from the musteltid. Because he was a naturally kind person, he thought no other person could conseivably be rude.
Refering to the earlier comment, Seiga said, "Ooooh, yes a pint would be nice. Maybe I could get something not involving parts of things...See, that's all you can really get in Corvistowne. I was never really a fan. Still cautious of the feline, who appeared twice the size that he actually was, he again offered him help, although he knew that if he got too close, he would most likely lose a limb.

Nikoli mostly stayed quiet as the Corvistownian, who had just showed up, and the other one conversed, focusing on his own personal misery. He had heard the winged one mention a pub. Now, he didn't enjoy fires all that much, but it would help in drying his thick fur that much quicker. After coming to the decision to accept his offer, the feline brought his attention completely back to them, noticing for the first time that the pink and black one had syringes protruding from his sides. It looked quite uncomfortable.
"Don't those hurt?" he suddenly blurted out, interrupting their conversation. Realizing the question might seem rude, he added, "I've just never liked needles all that much, they hurt."
He'd heard a lot about Corvistowne, though, so he wasn't too surprised at how he was decked out. Apparently, they were a rather queer bunch, but still easy to get along with if you overlooked their hobbies.
