ooc: Amby has gotten it into his head to study Torque bindings and the impact they have on the muscles, and was hoping someone wouldn't mind satiating his curiosity. <3
Ambrose wasn’t exactly sure what he was doing here. No, that wasn’t true; he knew his purpose, he just wasn’t used to the change in scenery. Except for occasional visits to the Capital City he had never traveled outside Corvistowne, and up until this point never felt a strong urge to venture anywhere else. But he was a bored ferret, patients were few and far between these days, and he needed a respite after the last experiment he preformed on himself. His limbs were still very stiff from the injection he had given himself two days ago, especially in his back legs.
So here he was, in Torquehelm, looking for an obliging Card to observe. He had brought a small medicinal kit with him, which besides carrying various tools of the trade also held his trusty notebook. Ambrose didn’t plan on doing anything invasive today, but he did hope to study the relationship between a Torque’s bindings and his or her muscle strength, or lack thereof. He had heard stories of Cards whose bindings were weights that increased muscle mass exponentially, while some made the creature too weak to walk for extended amounts of time. Fascinating stuff.
The ferret, however, hadn’t counted on getting lost. He supposed it wasn’t that shocking, what with him being a tourist and all, but it was getting rather irritating. All the terrain looked the same; it was all drab drab drab, with no color and little light. Coming from Corvistowne it wasn’t too much of a change, but it was beginning to get disorienting.
Didn’t I already pass this statue? Ambrose thought to himself and let out an exasperated sigh. Yes, yes he definitely had seen this strange modern sculpture before, and he still had no idea what it was supposed to represent. Art wasn’t his forte, believe it or not. He leaned against the cement structure in the hopes someone would pass by and this trip wouldn't be a complete waste of time.
