Since the day she had fallen in love with the court of hearts and then the mishap that had her banned she dared not approach any of the courts, even that of her own suit, but eventually curiosity brought her to the gates. She stood at the entrance nervously. Would she be welcome? Would everything go okay this time unlike last? She took a deep breath and walked forward. Her blue necklace gleaming brightly in the sun light. Her eyes scanned the area before her. It was not like she had pictured it...the court of hearts was prettier and more colorful but it did have a homey feeling to it. She slowly smiled and wandered around the grounds. She was elated, but suddenly stopped. What if the presiding king was a friend of the previous queen of hearts? What if they knew about the disgrace that she had shown the queen. Would she be thrown out? She stood where she stopped in a nervous wreck as too many thoughts of what could happen filled her naive head.

Gabriel had just finished up with a rather hefty pile of paperwork and sent it off via page to be stored in the proper places. The poor weasel who had been called to carry the pile had stared at it with wide eyes, and then up at the goat, and then back at the pile before sighing and hefting it into his arms. At least he did have arms, Gabriel reflected - he had no clue how he would have gotten a Card with just their Bipedal form to cart that whole pile. However, since the work was done for now an his In box was empty, he had decided to go on a quick stroll of the grounds to clear his head. Cane tapping along on the stone floor, the gentleman surveyed the Court with a deep air of satisfaction. This place was very good for him, and he was thrilled as to his current situation. A King of the Court! It was literally his childhood dream come true. Not only was he part of the Court, but he was serving under a most worthy Morganberry Queen. There hadn't been much of a chance to get to know His Majesty, but Gabriel figured that he had all the time in the world...at least for now, while there didn't seem to be any sort of challengers for the throne. But look there! What an enchanting young lady indeed. She was marked in the blues and greys of the Sorgaire Range, and was obviously a bird of prey, much like Aderlass' Pascha. Unlike him, however, she seemed to be a hunter of the daytime instead of the night. His King's ability kicked in, informing him that her name was Majida - it didn't strike a bell in his list of titled members of the Court, and so he deduced that she must be a visitor. Possibly on her Jack Quest, if she was a Ten and seeking entrance to the Court. "Good day, Miss,"[/color] he said genially, taking care not to startle her. She did seem to be a ball of nerves, and so as he approached he made sure that the tapping of his hooves and cane were audible, stepping into her line of sight before speaking.
