Heike was tired. How could he not be tired when he was running around trying to help with the children, the cooking, and just about everything else in the warren. He was the unofficial head of the Leverets somehow... though he had to wonder how that happened. He really wished it hadn't... more responsibilities meant less time to be with his sister and.... admiring Igni. Of course daydreaming nearly caused him to slam into a door. Snapping back into reality just in time he looked around to see if anyone was watching. Good. Coast was clear. He glanced at the cart that had been left in the foyer area in front of the Does rooms. Well, he might as well collect all the dirty dishes and what not from afternoon tea and snacks. He knocked on the door softly. His ears twitched as he listened for a response. After this he would probably have to go back to teaching the children a few things. "I've come to collect the dishes." He said hopefully.

Chelan was flopped less-than-gracefully on her bed, her limbs as spread-eagled as her bunny skeleton would allow. The doe was just about to fall asleep, but had yet to do more than start daydreaming - what else did she have to do this time of the day? Vikenti was busy, the other does were boring or snotty, and the kids weren't hers so she could care less about them. There was always the option of bugging a leveret or two, but that meant going and finding one, which was difficult.. because some of them ran away. A few were raptured with her - she had the vague thought that those ones might be boys - but the others just glared and stalked off. It wasn't her fault she was gorgeous. It just happened. It wasn't as if leverets could be sexy anyways.. eww, sexy leveret.. It was just her luck that Heike decided to come and get her dishes, because it meant she suddenly had something to do other than rot her brain out! Also, she had dishes littered all over the floor, so it would be nice to not get glass in her paw again from them breaking. Chelan might be entertaining, but she was a slob. The doe carefully bounced around dishes to the door, and immediately hit him with a bright, beaming smile. "Dishes? Yay! I love dishes! Come on in!" She said, swinging the door open to present the absolute mess that was her room. "You're.. h-something, right? Hueka? Heika? Something like that?"She got points for trying, at least, right?

Heike watched the door swing open. His eyes widened when he saw Chelan's cheerful face. He didn't expect such an exuberant greeting, but then again he wasn't used to this Doe yet. "It's Heike Miss--"
His jaw dropped when he saw the dishes on the floor. Dear god. Had no one bothered to clean her room....EVER? What did all the other leverets do? Why hadn't they bothered to come sooner. She had so much on the floor... oh... oh no. Heike felt like he had been smacked in the head with a two by four. Honestly, it was the worst he had ever seen a room... and he really didn't enjoy cleaning as much as the next rabbit.
"Miss Chelan, has anyone ever come by to pick up your dishes before now?" He asked as his ears twitched back in protest at the thought.

"HEIKE!" She exploded, then heaved a huge sigh as if he'd forgotten her name, and it hadn't been the other way around. "I knew it started with an h! See, I was right!"
Cheerful in her misplaced correctness, she pranced around the pile of dishes with ease, and re-flopped onto her bed in order to watch his baffeled expression. Why were there so many dishes? Well, how else was she going to lure leverets into her room for hours at a time? She hadn't meant to break them - it hurt! - but in the end it worked out, because glass was a real bitch to get out of carpetting. More time for Chel!
"Hmm.." The doe mused, absently twirling an ear around a paw. "Nope! I was sleeping, I think."

Heike almost fell over at the suddenly use of his name. Okay, so Chelan was an excitable Doe. The Leveret managed to keep his fur down as he eyed all of the dishes. Asleep was she? Well... that was one hell of an excuse. At least the Czar didn't come to her bedroom on a regular basis.
Broken glass. This was going to take forever. "Ah well, I'll clean this up for you." He picked up one of the shattered pieces with his paw, only to watch it fall to bits. His ears pulled back with frustration. He was going to need a bit more than his paws to clean up this mess.
He turned back to the cart that he had brought around so he could get the whole dishes, and grabbed the broom and dustpan off of it. All right he had to get this room clean.
"I'll remember to send someone over here more often. I don't think cutting your feet on glass shards is a fun activity." The leveret winced as he cut his paw that very moment. Ugh. How did she live like this?

[[Heeey muse!]]
Chelan just blinked and grinned at him, her expression purposefully as blank as a doll's. It wouldn't do to let him know that she was trying to make huge messes, after all. The stupider the Leverets thought her the better - Vikenti might know better, but she doubted he actually conversed with his kitchenmonkeys.
"Okay!" She agreed, then stretched out to grab a brush. The doe absently began combing and fluffing herself for no particular reason other than to see if it annoyed him. Chel was amused when he tried to pick up some shards and they fell to pieces in his paws. She honestly wasn't sure how long some of them had been there.. a week or so, maybe? Obviously it wasn't a good idea to step on them repeatedly, though.. whoops.
"Oh.. that's okay.." She started, then rapidly searched for a reason why she didn't need more cleaning. "I wouldn't want to be a bother.. I know you guys do so much around here!" Chel exclaimed, then leaned forward to smile better at him.
Man, she was awesome.

When the leveret noticed the Doe's eyes he found it difficult to look away. Maybe it had something to do with that headband she wore? At least he was able to "shake off" the feeling when he looked down at the dishes. Well, to some degree.
He didn't mind her fluffing herself. She seemed like one of those girly Does anyway. Then again... each of the Does he had helped to take of were special....
He needed to visit Igni sometime.
But Dishes. Right. He needed to focus on dishes. His ears twitched as he listened to Chelan. "We do have a lot of work to do, but keeping you happy and your room clean is one of our priorities. You, of course, come first.... it would never be a problem sending another leveret or two over to clean things up." Piling broken dishes in the dust pan the rabbit continued to clean as he spoke.
"Of course, if you don't want us invading your privacy that's fine by us. Cleaning up a little more often would be in order though." And then the rabbit proceeded to stab himself in the paw. He choked back a small curse as he hobbled to grab a towel. At least he didn't get blood on the carpet.

Chelan simply smiled wider when he couldn't look away. She was fairly sure the headband Leon had given her was the source - he, and everyone else, seemed so much more infatuated with her after it. You'd never catch her complaining, because it made life remarkably easy for the Doe.
She was disappointed when he didn't mind her fluffing, but she needed it anyways so continued. What she really needed was a nice, relaxing bubble bath, but she wasn't about to do that with an interesting Leveret in her room.
"I'm happy! Did you think I wasn't?" She inquired with a frown. Having dirty dishes didn't mean unhappiness, especially in her mind. It was actually better, because they entertained her. "You're not invading.. I'm just.. I'm sure you have more important things to do than take care of me!" She repeated inanely, trying to maneuver around him somehow.

Heike wasn't about to argue with a Doe. He had tried that before and failed rather fantastically. Either they missed his point of they just it off as silly banter. He sighed a bit, before he caught himself. He shouldn't let it all get to him. As much as he needed a damn vacation he wasn't going to get one.
He just wanted to be happy. He wanted his sister to be safe from the Czar and any other Jack. But he... damnit. It was so very complicated and things just got worse when he thought about it! His ears twitched in frustration as he wrapped his cut.
Once that was taken care of he continued the attempt to clean the dishes off the floor. How for the love of the White Rabbit could she live like this? "I don't speak with you very often Miss Chelan but is there anything you would like to see at meal time?"
