The little autumn shaded canine was walking ahead of his brother, tail held up and waving idly from side to with every step he took. His expression was mildly annoyed, he had gotten the pair of them shooed off for the afternoon after all. But really, he didn't set the tablecloth on fire purposely, he'd just ... walked to close is all. But apparently that was a bit much and before he could get into too much trouble he'd slunk out the door, brother in tow. A day in the capitol just wouldn't be any fun alone after all. Kaaaaaaaat ...... what do you want to do? honestly he didn't know why he'd agreed to come along with his brother, no ... wait, he did.... the little canine had this aura that just seemed to magnetize trouble to him and he new his parents, and grandparents for that matter, wouldn't be too happy if something truly awful happened to the puppy. It was rough being the voice of reason for two people, but he was determined to keep Nova from getting into anymore trouble today. Or ... at the very least he would try. His own tail hung down limply as he walked, rounded little rat ears in a neutral position between being erect and pinned back. However, at that utterly annoying sing song voice his brother used to say his equally annoying nickname, said ears flipped themselves backward. You're the one who got us in trouble, you think of something.

[OOC: Yeah...so....Claudius isn't an adult yet...but...all his siblings are...so...um....for this particular rp....even though I only have a baby image of him...just pretend he's an adult...XD;] How many times had he come to the capital by himself in his youth? Or with his siblings? It was to many times to count. His parents had certainly not been bad at parenting them, but they all seemed to get out on their own reguardless. Most of the time, they had ended up at the park, one of their favorite hangout spots, but today he stayed away from such a place. He wasn't even really sure why he thought about his youth in this moment. It was not as if this was the first time he had been to Captial City since he was young! He went all the time, seeing as he basically lived here...at least until he found his place in the world. Today he was just wandering around, taking his sweet time wandering about. Claudius had been stuck in a place for some time, trying to figure out what he wanted to do with his life. All of his siblings had found their place. He felt like a bumb, living with his mother and Igal still, without a job...without a purpose. His mother had assured him that she was fine taking care of him until he found out what it was he wanted to do. After all, all the other children had senced moved on to different places of their own...and he was sure his mother was beginning to feel a bit of empty nest syndrome. Igal didn't look as if he was fairing well from the change either. He had treated them all like children of his own after he had settled his drinking problem. But still, Claudius wanted more out of life...he didn't want to be living with his mother until he was old and grey or until she expired from this world. His wondering without watching where he was going lead him to suddenly trip. The large deer fell and cracked his head against the cobblestones. He had tripped over one of the children. He was knocked out slightly...and wasn't sure what was going on. When he regained a bit of consciousness, he just lay there...his head throbbing. "Nnnnr..." he moaned a bit.

Brokat was busy listening to his brother ramble on about things that he was there to experience as well, which wasn't all that bad really.... the autumn puppy was generally far more involved in them then he was and it made him get an idea of what things would be like if he were included. But his mind began to drift with his brother's voice as simple background noise ... until, of course, a set of hoofed collided with him and a body was falling over him.
The triple-breed was so shocked that an alarmed screech came from his maw, truly avian, and he felt hot tears leaking from his eyes. Not only had that scared him quite badly, but it hurt, and he wasn't used to that. A soft whine came from his muzzle beak next and he crouched on the ground, hiding his face under his paws. Suits, he couldn't let Cas see him crying!
Cas was in his own little happy world and just ... kept talking. He honestly didn't care if his brother was listening or not he just ... liked hearing his own voice sometimes. It was far better then complete and awkward silence after all. His fire colored tail picked up it's wagging pace as he approached a particularly grand part of his story only to freeze rather suddenly when he heard that awful sound that Brokat made when he was alarmed. His hackles rose on their own accord and he whirled around, a soft growl rising from his throat where it died rather quickly.
So someone had tripped over Kat again? Oy, this got old. He glanced over at his brother and knew, just knew the big lump of fur and feathers was crying.... but he wouldn't tease him, not now, the deer seemed to have met the ground harder then Kat had met the man's hooves. Thus, tail waving every so slightly once more, he pranced his way over to the deer's face and dipped his own down to be eye level with him, a goofy smile spread over his muzzle.
Are you alright?

The screech still rung in poor Claudius' ears, and still his eyes didn't open as he began to breath the pain out of his body enough to attempt to stand. He could still feel the body of whoever he had tripped over pinned underneath his legs, and he wriggled on the ground, using all his strength to lift his legs off of the body and to the side where he could lay uninhibited for a while. Suits...it felt like someone had picked up a horse and smacked him in the head with it...damn cobblestone streets.
A moan or two later and he began placing his feet underneath him, and lifting his head, which wobbled a bit as his vision swam. "I think.....I think I'm alright.....I'm sorry...I should have been watching where I was going." he looked towards a brown shivering blob on the floor (his vision was so so at the moment while he was regaining himself) and assumed that it had been the person he had tripped over..."Are you alright?" his eyebrows furrowed with worry. His hooves were big...and his legs lean and mean....he was hoping he had not hurt the little thing to badly...

Brokat was still hiding under his paws attempting to not let his tears make him sob, but he did just that. Oh he knew Nova would jump all over this but suits ... that had hurt. He got tripped over sometimes at the houses he and his siblings were passed around to but that was almost always by his siblings or .... careful, half expecting feet. Claudius obviously hadn't been expecting to trip over someone and therefor had hit him full force with his hooves.
At the deer's words, however, he sniffled a bit and drew his face out from under his paws and used the left one, the one without any rot, and wiped his nose. He tried so hard not to let his previous sobbing leak into his voice.
I t-think so.
And of course Cas, the unknowingly insensitive, perked himself up and peered at his brother, tail returning to it's friendly back and forth motions.
Don't mind him ... he's a cry baby.
Mother would most certainly scold him for saying something like that, but mother wasn't around and therefor, well ... he could say it. He did, however, step over to his brother and lick his forehead before grooming behind his ear briefly in a comforting manner. He really didn't want to make him cry again, after all.
