[[ New form... needed a new thread to jump start the muses... it works... :: cough:: this will probably be a short thread, depends. ]] It was awfully early for him to be out, early as in the sun hadn't quite set yet. Not only was it early but he'd also made his way out of the outer bazaar for the time being as well. He had several points of personal business on his agenda this evening and he wasn't entirely happy about any of these alone ... but everyone needed 'me' time occasionally and that was part of this... excursion. He lifted up an arm and wiped the ooze from first one eye and then the other on the sleeve of his coat, not entirely worried about it's lingering, soon to be crusty presence on his clothing for the time being, he just wasn't awake enough to care. He inhaled deeply through his nose, making a rather disgusting sound before turning his head and spitting out the cleared phlegm. Ah, yes... that was so much better. His classic sneer lingered, complimenting his rather disagreeable expression nicely as he made his way deeper into the not so shady parts of the capitol. One question was left to be answered though... where and what to start with. Oh how he hoped he came across someone who had enough spine to do more then just send him odd, disapproving or entirely disgusted looks ... his schedule always had room to pencil in a nice little .... meeting.

[...Maybe it's the fact that I've been cleaning my room for the past... long while, but sorry I had to do this. XD *has been made crazy*] Tinman rode on his master's shoulder as she strode briskly through the Capitol. Look, I know the man's completely mad, but killing him isn't the only option. Perhaps there's a way to experiment on him? Perhaps knowing what makes Outsiders crazy will help cure the Raiders as well?[/b] Heilyn only huffed at her Weapon's suggestion. It was a good suggestion to be sure, but he was a Queen. A Queen that was capable of some heavy damage. Rai... Heilyn bit the inside of her lip and kept going, careful not to show any emotion. Even if the streets were filled with people she didn't know and will never met again-- Except for the person she almost ran into while turning that corner. His face... that face looked oddly familiar. He was short... A Lowlander... oozing eyes... Diamond "You..."

He paused for a moment, the distinct feeling that someone was drawing nearer creeping into his mind. He could have passed it off as his paranoia getting the best of him again but he couldn't quite shake the feeling. He paused and straightened himself up from his somewhat sloughed posture, not that it made him all that impressive, not at his height. He peered over his shoulder and that's when he was... .rewarded? by the sight of someone else. At least his mind wasn't playing tricks on him again.
That voice though, it sounded bloody familiar but from where? He narrowed his eyes a bit as he eyed the woman, scrunching up his nose and frowning a bit as he thought. Oh, that had been a long time ago.... but he'd remembered. In fact ... that was before Finistris. He relaxed his expression ever so slightly before turning to face the rather tall woman before taking a deep breath .... curious. There was one rather distinct feature missing from her.
You don't stink anymore.

While Heilyn found herself repulsed by the goo-dripping eyes and his unkempt appearance in general, it was a great deal better than most of the Lowlanders she'd ever met. At least he kept himself partially clean. Could use for a good hair brushing, though. The facial hair stubble, however, she found charming and very fitting. And a Queen! Who would have thought that one in that population of vile, lazy things could have accomplished such a thing. The corner of her lip twitched, almost revealing a smirk.
"Heh, yanno, most comment on the fact that I now breathe free from my mask before they comment on my smell, but I graciously accept and thank you for your compliment." It was ironic that a member from one of the most foul regions imaginable should be one of the few to comment on her lack of odor before her lack of mask.
"It's been a long time," she gave a nod at the rank on his chest, "Well done."

The corner of his mouth twitched a bit when she spoke. He was still trying to master expressions in this form and the hardest part of it was keeping everything neutral. He'd get it one day, at least he hoped he would. It had certainly been a huge knock to his pride when Finistris had first shown that rotten brat how to pull and mold things out of the darkness and the spoiled little thing has gotten the hang of it the first day. He'd never been able to do that, not even after his son was making intricately detailed things. On this plane though ... that didn't matter and it made it all a little less like a slap in the face. Suits he loved being free of that whiny voice in his head and... wow, his mind really had gotten distracted. Stupid weasel/rat.
I've seen a number of people wear stranger things but never have I come across someone that was alive that smelt that bad.
And that was really saying something since he'd grown up in the Lowlands, most of the cards that stayed behind in that realm instead of coming to the city to work were the worst off of them all.... nothing more then a walking carcass really.
His eyes followed her gaze downward when she made her comment ... oh, his rank, that had to be what she was referring to. Well, it was either that or the form but he hoped it was his rank ... he still didn't quite know why people seemed so very fond of human forms. Well, at least he still had something close to claws ....
He straightened himself up and the corner of his mouth twitched up into a little smirk before he spoke again.
Just getting what I deserve... unlike some little....
That smirk twisted into a frown as he went on into a little tangent, speaking in a mix of common and his native tongue. She'd probably be able to pick up a thing or two having to do with 'rotten children', 'bane of my existence' and a few other lovely phrases that ran along the same lines.

Heilyn smirked. Oh, the memories. There was one man in her life that didn't seem to mind it so much when the stench was around. Well, the fact that she was getting married to him said enough on the subject. Wonderful man.
"I see. Also well done on the human form as well. I haven't seen your name in the Diamond Court roster," Oho yes. She would've heard from Theo about the atrocity that befell his Court should Osias have joined it. She also would have heard if he had even tried. She had heard something about a non-titled Lowland face card in the Court of Spades some time back. It was entirely possible. A long shot, but possible.
If it weren't for...? Huh.
"I see something's got your panties in a twist," Oh, Heilyn, ever so sociable. Something in his hair caught his attention. Swirls. Just like a Highlander's but in Lowland colors. Huh. Now that was interesting.

Well, he didn't remember her being quite this .... friendly the first time around. And, oh, wait... there it was .... now that was the stinky coyote he'd managed to remember. Had he run into her again several years back court talk would have been a sore subject ... but it wasn't anymore. The desire for a title had long since dropped dead and cold from his mind. Things change .... Of course his little aggravated tirade ceased when she said something, he'd said that out loud? Hum, perhaps he was slipping? However, he wasn't able to get out a reply before being sent into another little fit. Morpheus didn't want to sit back and stay by himself now that he had not just one parent back, but both, and he still hadn't dealt the rat his fair share of revenge for just.... disappearing and making him worry. Thus he'd followed his mother, making sure to keep just out of sight of the paranoid man. But he.... stopped, and he was talking to someone? Hmm. He activated his flight ability, keeping his feet just off the ground, and slithered toward his target. He dropped the ability and pounced, pleased with the fact that he managed to not only hit his bony target.... but knock him off his feet as well! He giggled cheerfully and plopped himself down on the human, making sure to effectively pin him before turning blank, silver eyes to the woman he was talking to. Of course this meant that he was fully ignoring the attempts to get free and the awful threats being spat at him in Lowland tongue from his mother. He'd let him up .... eventually. He tilted his head to the side ever so slightly and flashed her a toothy grin, putting on his best 'nice boy' act. Well hello there, who might you be?

Heilyn's lip curled just slightly. Yes. Things certainly did.
Speaking of change, Osias was no longer standing. Huh. there was a very young Lowlander sitting on top of him. She also ignored Osias for the sake of the young man. Her eyes flickerd upward. If anything was coming to tackle her, especially a Lowlander, it was going to die before it got anywhere near her. She saw nothing, so she kept an eye on the other Lowland... Queen of Diamonds. Interesting.
"I could ask you the same thing, sneaky one." Amusing. The bitching of the trapped one amused her. The Tove on her should gave a small but distressed noise. Why was that one attacking the other one? Was it going to attack his master next?
Wait, young? He only looked about in his twenties or so... Oh Suits, she could remember when she was that age. Her first litter was about the same...
She refused to believe she was getting old. Being old was for old people and highly inconvenient. She had no time in her life for inconvenience.

Struggling was getting him nowhere and the more he moved the more his bones ground against the concrete. He bit back a huff and went still for the time being, maybe that would be enough to get the youth off of him. Once he was off though, he'd get his revenge. He couldn't kill him, he was pretty sure of that, but he could certainly try and beat some sense into the little idiot. Hum... actually... if he could get a hand free ...
Oh ho, so mother was giving up, was he? This thought had his little rat tail curling up into it's happy shape as he eyed the woman a bit more. And she... didn't exactly answer him but he would be taking the sneaky comment as a compliment and ignore the fact that she didn't tell him exactly who she was.
His grin broadened a bit, he straightened himself up, puffed out his chest, gave his neck the most regal curve he could and placed a clawed paw on his chest ... he liked looking pretty for introductions. Who cares if it was a little... melodramatic?
Morpheus.
