Marigold perched on her mother's wet front porch, oblivious to the many Cards teeming on the sidewalk a few short feet in front of her. The hybrid was staring intently at the pavement, her gaze fixed on a large splattering of moisture that was about to fall off a large pebble. A few seconds later, the dew abruptly hardened and shot into the air, then fell harmlessly back to the porch, bounced a few times, and stopped in front of the child. She sat up with a happy smile, then gently picked up the pellets and began weaving them absently through her webbing. The girl then seemed to notice the crowd around her - it was about six in the morning, time for everyone to go to work - and began people watching avidly, still spinning the pellets back and forth in her paws.

Tegan yawned as she plodded down the street. She'd been up all night and was heading back to her hotel room. The Capitol was so much fun at night! But now she was ready for some sleep. She wasn't quite at the end of her suit's semi-insomniac ability. What a NIGHT! She wondered if it would be too much to ask last night's fling to lunch... Then something flying up into the air caught her attention. Her over sized ears snapped up to attention and she watched the event unfold. What was that? "Excuse me," Tegan called to the girl in her usual smugness, "May I ask what you have there? It looks like fun!"
