((ooc: refer to VAST as the songs he is singing))He stood on the corner of one of the busiest streets. It was a quiet day and for some reason the club had become quite stuffy so since he still had not acquired his bipedal form he had hired one of the guitarist who often played with him to just sit and play while he sang on the street. He sang his heart out and he sang with such vigor and passion that occasionally people would stop and listen, some time dropping him a few coins for his efforts, but still something was bothering him, and all of this just was not enough. Why was it that he could not feel complete in his short life? What was missing? He did not know so for the moment he would just sing, let loose his emotions and delight in the release that only this could give him, even if in the end it was just temporary...

Senka had slipped out of the house. She didn't do it often--not between lessons and helping her Uncle Ezra--but sometimes she just had this overwhelming desire to escape the tiny confines of their apartment. To get away, even if it was only for a little while, from her beloved piano and music sheets. Music was everything, but without someone to share with it sometimes just fell... flat. So here she was, wandering the city aimlessly; her xialaphone chimed discordantly with each step. She wasn't quite sure what led her to that particular street corner, but she stood and listened with no small amount of pleasure to the impromptu preformance. He was older than she was, and what she supposed might be considered handsome. Senka was much more interested in his voice. She didn't really sing much herself--besides little, broken melodies sung in the shower--much preferring writing lyrics than actually preforming them, but if there was anything that might convince her otherwise it just might be him. She chuckled at her own whimsy.

As he finished his song and prepared to begin a new one he noticed the child who has stopped and stayed while every one else left, some again dropping more coins. He noted the instrument around her neck and smiled softly to himself. He knew whey she stopped, it was the same reasons he had done the same to other performers when he was younger. Music had always interested him.
He thought for a second and then motioned to the girl as he smiled, patting the ground next to him. "Would you like to play with us? You can play right?" he did not want to seem insulting, but there were times when he saw children running around with drums or other instruments and did not have a clue how to treat them right let alone play them as the should be played. He hoped that this one was different.

Senka nodded, sleepy-eyed. From the look he was giving her he thought her much younger than she actually was--she was nearly sixteen, now--but it didn't really surprise her; she'd always been ridiculously small for her age; long-limbed awkwardness. It was endearing, though, the way he looked at her.
"Yeah. I think I'd like that."
She settled down on the sidewalk beside him and positioned her xialaphone. While not the most sophisticated instrument, it would still work fine for her purpose here. She struck a few notes to make sure everything was in working order, smiling a little bit at the clear, crisp note that resonated out from the instrument.
She'd never actually performed in front of people before, with the exception of Uncle Ezra, but in the face of the music the rest of the world was slowly fading away.
"What's the next set?"
