Sabe had turned really bleak. He didn't know what to do with himself, so he turned back to the one thing that was always there for him. His work.
He got really board just watching and managing the company and decided that for today he was going to deliver some of the packages himself. So he went into the back room where he found several hundreds of packages and parcels. He sighed... things were starting to get backed up. That wasn't good... that meant that he would need to get more people to work for him... which meant more people to pay.
He gave a shrug and went over to the list were all the locations and serial numbers for each item was to be delivered and found a few that was meant to go to the Sorgaire Range. Well... it would have seemed that today will be a short day for him indeed.
He took the list and found each item that was meant to be sent there and collected it all onto one table. There wasn't much... mostly mail and the sorts and two or three small packages.
Short day indeed...
He took the letters in his hands and neatly placed them in the satchel that he carried on his side. Once they were in did he start to place the larger of the items in there. One wouldn't fit... it was just a bit too big... He would have to carry this one.
He looked at the name of the box,
Majida
That was a wonderful name, he thought as he smiled large and took the package under arm careful to not rupture the box itself. That would have been bad if he did... didn't want to make the Sabe's Safe Transport Company to look bad. The Sabe STC was all that he was about now. He didn't have anything else to look forward to save the next morning when he could start work all over again.
He took the mail and packages to the front desk to log them out with the secretary there. She smiled back up at him and marked them off as he told her that he wouldn't be back until tomorrow. She wished him a good day and watched him as he left the building.
He emerged just outside looking up at the grey over casted skies. He cursed himself as he had forgotten to ask about the weather conditions... else he would have sent someone else to do this, but now he was committed and would have to follow through with it. He sighed as he took a running start before starting to pump his white wings gaining him altitude into the air.
He enjoyed flying more and more now a days. With two sets of wings it made it easier to do so and wouldn't cause him to get tired as fast as others. He could glide longer and control the thermals that formed under his wings better than he could have ever done so when he was just in his animal form.
A day later he arrived on the border of the region and cominced to start delivering mail giving the same speech that he had give to each other person.
"Thank you for choosing Sabes Safe Transport, I am the owner and have personally delivered your mail to ensure its Safety across the regions!"
It was the hooker... it got people to use his company again and again... though he missed when it was much much more smaller. All he had left was the single package that was meant for Majida. Who ever she/he was would be the last stop of the day.
He noticed that the package now wasn't for the Range... but for the capital instead. He cursed to himself as he looked about. He wuold have to travle south again... at least he was doing this for his return trip.
He moved the package into his satchel and leept into the skies. Wondering where this person lived. He spent about another day going back to the capital before he found the persons house.
He dived quickly to the ground folding back his two pairs of wings right up until he was only a good fifteen to twenty feet from the ground where he would open them to slow his fall. He was just as successful as he was all the other times.
Once landed did he fold his white wings over his shoulders and walk up to the door.
He knocked a few times before stating, "Mail Call." he said loud enough so that the person, whoever it was, would hear him inside.
He waited patently as he stood there his wings folded over his shoulders covering his rank that looked like a cape made of sterling white feathers edged with peacock feathers throwing an incredible powerful aura of self assurance. He though still didn't feel it. He stood with a false smile on his face his eyes dull from the constant work and grief that he still had from Isolde and ... that male...
