Since these note-doodles seem to be all that I'm capable of doing lately, I was thinking about sprucing 'em up a little. I love doing outlines in Flash, it's quick and fun, so I doodled around with that over one of the note-doodles. It looked good, so I went ahead and colored it, too. I'm happy with how it turned out, but I wanna know what you guys think. After all, these doodles are mostly for you. <3 Otherwise, I'd never ink them, let alone scan and color. XDXD I also can't decide what to do with the background - white, like in the above, or put the note-doodle back behind it, so it keeps the feel of "spiffied-up-class-doodling"? Lemmie know. <3 Plz vote and throw in additional comments as to what you like/don't like, what works/doesn't work, ect.

I think it looks wicked with the note background =D It looks like it is coming up off the paper all alive and stoofs. I guess it'll depend on what you feel the work would benefit from on a case by case basis, but for just fun doodles, i say keep the lines XD

I agree with Nako that it should probably be on a case-by-case decision basis. <3 I chose new, but that's only because I feel like the white background doesn't have the scratchy prior-drawing bits that the paper one has. The paper bg itself is rather awesome.

Hmm. I kinda like it with the lines, but really either way is cool. ^^

I really enjoy the note background. Of course you could go by what you feel looks best with each doodle. But I would choose new with old background. I like seeing the previous work that went into the doodle.

I concure with Kari! The back grounds just goes to show that you are a down to earth type of gal and don't sit around bent over a desk in your dark drawing room, thinking of the many things that you do...
the back ground makes the pictures just that much better =)
