The Dictionary Meme

So I wanted to start a meme, and this is it! The rules go as follows:

Get a dictionary. Turn to a random page and pick out a word you never knew the meaning to before. Write the word and meaning (or at least the word) down. Next to the word will be a picture of something you created pertaining to that word. It can be a sculpture, character sketch, painting, illustration, photograph, WHATEVER! This is for you, as the artist, to take liberty with! (though for the sake of SoD, keep it to character art. It can be your own characters, other peoples, doesn't matter)

Repeat the process five times. You should have five drawings by the end. (I will make some form of template for this later for use on deviantART) NOTE! If you chose to use other people's characters in this meme, you have not tagged them! (I hate tagging so I will not include it in a meme of my own creation) Tag other people if you want, it's not a caveat.

This sounds completely awesome XD I'll totally have to try it. I learned regicide not too long ago. It was odd. First I was trying to learn more about bidets, which took me to a site about hygiene, which talked about milk and honey baths... which mentioned regicide as a joke ... you know.. milk honey baths were for royalty... yeah. Anyways.

Baww! Look at Aisha -owning- that word. XD Very nice stuff. Lysaras makes me go 'awww'

*squees* XD you just took two of my favorite things and shoved them together. *used to go through the dictionary when she was a kid just to learn new words and of course loves art*

Regicide! You make me miss Latin class, we had a whole chapter on different -cides (genocide, infanticide... all those warm fuzzy murders.) XD and I squee at the sight of Conway.

I also want to hug Lysaras. Like. Really badly. She looks so said and flipping adorable.

Oooh, a meme that's equally artistic AND literate. *.* Very cool!

Because of the Dictionary meme I learned five new words today, and your randomly selected words match up with the chosen characters pretty accurately, Satra. Their pictures could show up next to the definition of each one.

Nikolai is the perfect example of atavism. He is Blaine reborn in appearance, but his charming, yet vain personality (and his fondness for puppets) is the total opposite of him. You prove it by drawing Nikolai fixing one of his puppets.

Perched in the window before murdering Queen Serafino, Conway looks intense; the expression is his face definitely says, "I can take you out without breaking a sweat." Hehe, if looks could kill...^_~

And Bernard seems truly at peace with himself while he's playing the viola. Just forgetting about the current turmoil of the Hearts Court and getting lost in the music.

These sketches are well done. <3 Such a great sense of the characters; you've captured them expertly in your style.

I adore how Bernard looks. Chanson, perfect. Poor guy, he does play the viola when he's really stressed. Usually for all the SeBer and SeLyn kiddies or by himself upstairs. Depends on how emo he is that day. His expression is precious.

Oh...Lysaras. Satrap, I love it. She looks so morose, wonderful face there...and the pose does nothing but assist <3 I love how you do her hair.

Oh, Conway <3 I luvs you. Bernard (if he knew) would help you get into a slap fight with your own ass for what you did to the boy who may as well have been his son. WONDERFUL pose. Damn, I like that one.

Aisha and Nikolai look lovely. Nik's face is so freaking cute <3
