"WHAT A GLORIOUS DAY, MY FRIENDS~~!" Casey half-crowed, half-sung at some mildly emaciated crows perched on the tree he was currently inhabiting. They gave him a mild glare but otherwise ignored him - it was a sad day he was unable to scare away a few birds, but such was his life. Not as if he noticed. The canine measured the distance between his paws and the ground, then shrugged, and jumped. How he'd managed to get up the tree in the first place was a good question - the fall nearly knocked him unconcious, but he shook it off within a few minutes and drunkenly stumbled over to the square's fountain and sloppily took a drink from it. The water was ice cold that early in the morning, and it quickly woke him up. Envigorated, he lept onto the edge of the fountain and sat up on his hind legs, then began loudly singing about his recent adventures, gallant and chivalrous as they were. [ ]

Chiari was bored. Not just bored, no, he was Bored, or even BORED. And it wasn't like he had all that much to do, other than taking care of the kids, but it wasn't exactly like he or Helen had ever really had much to do with raising the things, so instead he'd left them all in the care of the nurses at the Court of Spades (the ones who were used to having Diamonds mixed in with Spades, from when there'd been that Lowlander living at the Court who'd had the son that Mia had been so taken with until they got into a big fight and now Aph was dating him or something). So now he was looking for something to do. A flash of purple caught his eye - and it was such a pretty shade, so very Villa - along with the glorious accompaniment of song, and he quite happily took himself over to investigate the source of such a fascinating thing. The moment the song came to an end - or maybe it was just the interlude of a verse, who knew - he promptly burst into wild applause. "Magnificent! Fantastico! Good sir, how is it that you are not in the finest concert halls of the Villa at this very moment? Oh, I know!"[/b] He gasped, clutching his forepaws before his chest and staring with all three eyes wide open. "You truly are a virtuoso, but you've come here to the Capital to- Oh, I haven't heard anything about upcoming performances, so you must be here on a vacation, away from all of your admirers!"[/b] [ooc: ...I have no idea. Ari, however, is thrilled.]

Casey halted in the middle of his song. Who dared interrupt him?
Who dared to halt his glorious, wonderful, heavenly verse? Some peon, some peasant, it had to be - no one with taste, no one with tact! would dare such a thing!
He slowly, ever so slowly, brought his head down to glare at the creature down below him. The words brought forth only caused him to stare in wonder - this person thought him a concerto, a virtuoso? WELL OF COURSE HE WAS, it wasn't his fault he'd gotten kicked out of the Villa. His musical tastes were just too exquisite, just too perfect for the likes of them.
"I choose to live here, good sir, though I do agree that the likes of me should have their own concert hall - but alas, I sold my last one last Thursday." The canine replied elegantly, one paw raised to stroke his hair.

Kyarah overheard the song from the other side of the square. She meandered over in the general direction from whence it came to see another Villa. This excited Kyarah and she advanced to a speedy trot and saw that said Villa was in a conversation. She slowly walked up to the two who were talking. She poked her head around the other and smiled to the Villa. " Well you surely should put out a cup for tips. You could perhaps buy another. Your song caught my attention from over there!"she said as she gestured to her previous position. "I live here as well, what an odd coincidence. Two Villa's both out of place in the same place. You have such a beautiful voice. I must wonder if you would be interested in a percussion accompaniment?"Kyarah then quickly collected up two sticks and began playing a simple beat on the edge of the fountain. This slowly became more and more intricate and intense. The beat was perfectly accentuated by the softly running water. Kyarah grinned and fell into her zone. After a few moments of this, she played a fast and exciting ending. She then threw the sticks into the air and fell onto her back with her arms crossed behind her head. She was very pleased with her little performance.
