Well, she initially had plans to go and sun herself this afternoon but had been warned by an utterly soaked leveret that it had decided to rain today. Well, that meant no sun and no glorious time for the golden lady to clear her mind and try and cleanse herself of her own doubts, wasn't that just fantastic? She'd merely huffed at the wet rabbit and turned, leaving him, or her to whatever it was they were doing. Damn, but perhaps Vikenti is not busy...? She straightened herself up and began to move gracefully through the halls of the warren keeping her head held high so her lopped ears wouldn't sully themselves by dragging on the earth. She took great pains in making every move she made look like a beautifully choreographed section of a dance knowing it made the Czar happy to see that his golden lady's movements matched her looks. She wanted nothing more then to see him smile and be the kind man she knew he was deep down. She paused at his door, violet pools scanning down one side of the hall and then the next to make sure she wouldn't be foolish for knocking if she saw his unmistakable form coming toward her, but she didn't see him. She took another moment to fix her ears just so and to make sure every hair was in it's proper position and then she sat up and gave a dainty knock, hoping beyond all things that she hadn't disturbed him from reading or if she had she hoped it was something on a level of interest below her. His wrath was something that she did not wish to warrant again, ever. Vikenti...?

Vikenti was angry. This wasn't an uncommon occurance as of late. In fact, every time the Czar strolled down the halls of his pride and joy, his warren, he could feel the emotion bubbling up inside of him. It should be perfect. Everything should be perfect, but it wasn't. The halls were so... empty. His brows furrowed slightly into a scowl, an expression that was becoming commonplace on the Jack's face. He looked the books in his shelves over, reaching up after a moment and selecting one, settling down in his favorite chair. He was the Czar, known and feared the world over, and yet... Here he was, living in a beautiful yet painfully understaffed warren, with only one Doe to his use and two servants, one of whom was a constant disrespect to him. The brat should be happy to have a warm place to live and food for himself and his sister, as far as Vikenti was concerned. He flipped the pages of the book with one hand, the other scratching absently at his thick beard. Things were going to change around here, that much was certain. His ear twitched slightly as he heard someone approach, and he raised his head. At the call, his frown faded slightly, though the deep furrowing between his eyes remained. Ahh, at least he had two servants who treated him with the respect he deserved, and they were both ever so beautiful... " Come in, my golden lady.[/b]" he replied, voice surprisingly even. " What brings you here today, may I ask?[/b]"

For a moment she hoped she'd misjudged his whereabouts and he wouldn't be in, but there it was... welcoming her inside. Although his voice sounded even enough she'd learned that it was better to judge by his expression then his tone. Thus the first thing her eyes landed on after she'd sat up and carefully opened the door was his face. She knew where his favorite seat was and she also had a bit of memory as to where that handsome face would be so she only had to adjust her gaze slightly. His brows were furrowed, yes, but at least he didn't seem to be in a particularly bad mood. Or so she thought, time would tell.
She landed gracefully on her front paws and moved inside, closing the door behind her. She shoved all of her doubts behind a look of concern before proceeding foreword, continuing her dance of a walk that she'd perfected ages ago. Her voice was soft, but reflected the concern she wore on her lovely visage.
I was unsure if you'd want to be bothered in your study, but the rain and your expression tell me my presence would be an acceptable distraction, yes?
She tilted her head just so and pushed one of her shoulders forward, posing for him briefly as she flashed him a smile. If she could just make him happy then she would be happy in turn, all of the dreadful things in her mind gone for the moment. Her goal? Make the czar smile, he was so very handsome when he smiled.

Golden eyes followed the doe's every step as she made her way towards him, and the corner of his mouth twitched slightly. He was able to control his expression and keep the smile from forming fully, though the furrows of his brows relaxed slightly. She would need to work much harder than that to earn his smile, as he knew how much she loved to see it. Her concern was greatly appreciated, though he would never express this in words, he could tell her in other (far more interesting) ways.
"My dear, you are never a bother to me.[/b]" the Czar said, his voice its usual strong tone, but with a hint of softness in it. The smoothness came easily to him. He was feared, but to the women in his life... Well. In his way, he loved every one of them, and he made it his own personal goal to bring a smile to their faces. "And if the rain means that I have earned your company, then I wish that it would rain every day.[/b]"
He shifted in his seat, muscles rippling under his smooth white coat, eyes sparking slightly as he watched her. A smile. That was always a good sign, as far as Vikenti was concerned. She was so much his that it made his heart ache sometimes. "Why don't you come and sit with me, my dear?[/b]" he asked, motioning towards his lap with a small nod. She would get her smile.

The sun shall not keep me away, should you wish it so.
Today didn't seem like it was going to be one of the bad days and thus she was able to cast it all aside and give her full focus to the czar. She'd caught the twitch at the corners of his muzzle. Almost, but not quite. Very well, she'd just have to try a little harder, unaware that that was exactly what he wanted.
Her own smile broadened as he offered her a seat on his lap and she'd not be the one to turn such a gesture down. She scrunched herself ever so slightly to make the leap, trying to be the dainty lady that she was even then. Immediately she would shift herself to the side and allow her form to fall back, no doubts in her mind that he would catch her rather then let her simply fall. His grip was strong, and when she was in it nothing would frighten her.
Your wish is my command my dear Vikenti.

Vikenti's mouth twitched again. Yes, she was quite a treasure, this one... For the time, at least. He was eternally glad to have her, but something was still missing from his life. He wanted more, and he didn't want his darling Yasmin to become too overwhelmed. As it was, he worried about her. Being the only one to care for his needs had to get difficult for her, especially when he was in one of his moods.
Those moods seemed to be more and more frequent, as of late.
As she leapt towards him, his muscles bunched and he moved forward, strong arms wrapping around her and pulling her close, planting a small kiss on her nose. It was a rare show of affection from the normally hard-hearted man, but... He knew that you couldn't win them all with muscles and rough sex. In fact, he knew that his rough nature scared the delicate doe, and he was doing his best to show her only kindness. He didn't want to scare her away from him, did he?
"Tell me, my dear... What are you doing on a rainy day like today, hmm?[/b]" He asked, the most subtle of smiles curling lazily across his face as he gently tickled the Doe's chin.

She didn't mind being the only one as she was a rather insecure little thing.... as long as she was his only she needn't worry about anything except his health and happiness. She didn't give much thought to her own, at least not in his presence. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, mainly the sun... she did so love sunning herself. As the only doe she was secure, happy.... and untempted to think those dreadful thoughts she'd had before. But she knew she could never be enough for him and things would get complicated, she could only hope that she could remain high upon his list. She'd gotten used to all the attention after all.
And here she was, safe, sound and terribly warm in his arms, she could do little more then forget about the rain and completely relax. She leaned forward, taking her front paws and smoothed his beard, which he'd mussed a bit, gently. When she'd put it back in order, knowing he enjoyed keeping up his appearance, she turned her attention back to his face just in time to catch his words and that subtle smile. That, combined with the tickling of her chin, caused her own to grow. Her voice held a soft teasing undertone to it.
Stealing a handsome Jack's attention away from his books.
She ran the toes of her front paws over his chest before tracing one along the nearer red marking, his coat was just... delightful. His markings were so much finer then her own and they worked so well with his build. Yes, she was indeed in the arms of a rather handsome Jack, the one she'd had before certainly couldn't compare in the slightest.

Vikenti moved slightly, settling the Yarrow Doe more securely in his lap so that he could better look at her. She was a beautiful thing, and so sweet... But so easily frightened, such a timid creature. His face betrayed nothing of what he felt, however, and he pulled her a little closer to himself. When she spoke, he laughed, the sound strong and filling the room completely. Ah, a hint of spunk from her! He couldn't help but appreciate it, and moved his face closer to her own, the bristly fur of his cheek brushing against her own. Who cared if it got mussed up now?
"A worthy task, I must say,[/b]" he commented, lightly brushing his lips against her own in a surprisingly gentle kiss. He had learned with time that with Yasmine, he needed to move slowly, show her that he could treat her gently. "And you are much more lively company than these books. Far more beautiful than they, at any rate.[/b]" he teased, slowly running a hand across her back. "But how do you suggest keeping your Jack's attention away, my dear lady, hmm?[/b]" His amber eyes shone, meaning more than clear.
