[Alright, definitely ready to start this one, sorry that took me a while, Kiki. <3 ] Peter sauntered in a haughty manner to the front doors of the business. He'd heard excellent things about the masonry business and rumors that they took commissions from the Courts. ....or so he heard, anyway. He needed to confirm this rumor himself. If it was true, then this place certainly did deserve his prowess and talent. He smoothed down the fur on top of his head with a paw. His chin was held high, his shoulders back, and his eyes half-lidded as is he was staring down his nose at anyone who passed by. Every once in a while, if he saw a cute girl he would wink and lick his teeth. He was good looking, strong, talented, and of moderately high rank. What else could a person ask for in, well, anyone? He'd contacted the man in charge previously and had arranged this meeting between them. He knocked on the door and waited. [Ehh, forgive me if I'm assuming anything... please correct me if I am....]

((sorry it took so long >.> i've been taking care of my cat)) Peder had a huge mess to clean up today. Thomas, his second in command, didn't show without so much as a note, and the filing system had been changed by said oaf and again not so much as a word about it. He sighed to himself as he rubbed his temple with one paw... it was going to be a very irritating day and he didn't even have Pathos to help him. Bother. He was so wrapped up in what he was doing, he had forgotten that he had a meeting today with another man until he heard the knock on the door. He opened it to find a rather confident looking gentleman, realizing it was a bit creepy to open the door and say nothing he offered his paw for a shake and gave him a sincere grin. " Hello! You must be Peter, I am- well... Peder" he laughed. " Come on in before you catch your death" he offered as he opened the door wider to allow the canine to enter. It was going to be rather embarrassing him seeing the mess and all but such was business, it wasn't all going to be neat and tidy unfortunately... no thanks to Thomas. He sat back down in his office wing back chair and offered the seat before him to the newcomer. " Have a seat and we'll see what we can do for ya today"

Peter winced at the use of his birth name. It was just so... drab compared to what he deserved. He would have tor remember to slap the little idiot who gave Peder the name 'Peter' rather than 'Pietro'. He completely ignored the fact that Peder and Peter would be a fun business name in favor of his precious pride.
However, Peter was more than happy to see that the other man was not only a Club, but a Selkie, too.
"Please, call me Pietro," he stated and accepted the man's invitation to come in, "How are you today?" he asked, throwing Peder a confident smile. He really thought of himself as something of a make-shift Diamond. All the greatness of a Club with all the charm of a Diamond! he thought, Do my wonders never cease?

Peder furrowed his brow at the apparent mistake, he would have to correct Bernie on it later. Smoothing his cravat (it was getting a bit natty but it would do for now), he turned his attention back on Pietro.
"Yes, of course Pietro. I'm doing fine, about you? Tell me, what brings you to my office today?".
It was a bit sudden but Bernie said he was most insistent that he speak with Peder. He liked a man who didn't hesitate to get what he wanted though... it was usually good for business. He shuffled around some papers, looking apologetic at the state his office must have been. There was a big uproar about missing important component so that Peder could get his work done for the day. Damn delivery men and their mistakes.
There was nothing that could piss Peder off more than a stupid mistake, and really that was saying a lot because Peder didn't get mad often. He readjusted his monocle and slid some receipts into a drawer.

"I am here, because I would like a job at your..." he couldn't help but pause at the state the man's office was in, "fine establishment." He took a breath. Good product, he reminded himself. There was always a bit of chaos behind the scenes of beauty. This company had a good reputation, it does no good to be too judgmental.
"You see, I have quite a bit of experience and skill with marble. I have a magical ability that allows me to shape it to my will." There was a touch of boastfulness in his voice. "If you would like me to prove it, I could easily show you, if you have the materials handy." He just loved to show off.
[Sorry... this character is a little unbearable for me sometimes XD ]

Peder knew his business probably didn't look too great today so he took Pietro's look with a grain of salt. Any other time and he would have kicked him out of his office. But today, he really needed the help.
"You really don't have to prove it to me. But I'll tell ya what, if you help me get this place organized today then you have the job and you can start come Monday. We have a big order coming and unfortunately my brother hasn't been coming to work as much as he used to so I'm left to do everything. If you want the job, you can start alphabetizing these files here and put them in the drawer to my right." he gestured to his desk as he started to work on the rest of the mess.
"I just need to get things in such a way that I won't lose any more of the work orders." she said with a sigh. He really valued his team but sometimes they were just so... lazy.
