Standing in front of the mirror the hedgehog had placed out for her to review his work, she adjusted one of the lapels, turning to the side to see how it looked on her. Narrowing her eyes at the image presented, she finally gave a nod of her head in approval. The colors looked wonderful on her, nothing too overpowering but it was enough of a statement that she was sure her sister would be jealous if she ever saw it. "This looks lovely on me, does it not Eir?" She asked though she was not really listening or caring just what he thought on the matter. It really was a sad thing that had happened to the poor creature, falling and breaking her leg like that. Though, she had become useful after all. Giving another, final tug on the jacket she turned and headed out of the shop, ignoring the protests from the store's owner.

It was just as well that Vespera wasn't waiting for a response from the stallion; he wasn't paying attention. Indeed, the Jack was staring at the hedgehog and wondering just how hard it would be to get around all of those quills; he was quite hungry. The girl headed out and the Card turned to the stallion, apparently expecting payment for his work on the Ace coat. Instead, the man found Eir's unwavering gaze boring threateningly into him. It was. . . beyond disconcerting, especially with the hint of madness dancing in the lavender eyes. Still, the businessman tried. "That's a hundred gold. . ." His voice wavered, and he cleared it uneasily. "I've never tried hedgehog," the man answered instead, licking his lips thoughtfully. "I bet you're. . . succulent. . . beneath those quills."The Card backed suddenly away. "Free of charge! Free of charge!" Still, the stallion stared at the man, debating how to kill the Card so he might enjoy the meat within.

(( XDDDDDDDDDDD ))
Reaching the sidewalk and after a moment realizing that the horse was not following her, she heaved a sigh. Rolling her eyes she glanced back at the shop, tapping her foot impatiently. Seriously, he could be worse than babysitting a bunch of aces.
Cracking the door back open she stuck her head inside. Seeing that he was indeed staring at the shop keeper and hearing the 'Free of charge! Free of charge!', she grew annoyed. This was not the time for him to play around.
"Eir, stop playing and come along!" She snapped turning a glare towards the hedgehog as if all of this was his fault.
Turning her attention back to the street outside she glanced up and down, taking note of the different shops located on both sides. Now that he had brought the issue up she found that she was indeed hungry.

Eir's ears flattened, his focus destroyed by a familiar voice and he turned to glare at the teenager. "I don't interrupt you when you're about to eat," he snarled, then remembered that they were back amidst civilization. It didn't do for people to know what he was really like. He glanced back at the hedgehog and smiled as politely as he could. "Ha. Ha."
The Card was staring at him in further horror and Eir realized that his cloak had slipped, giving the Tulgey a lovely view of his internal organs. He snorted, shifting his weight and giving a small buck to twitch the cloth back over his invisible hindquarters and limped out into the street beside the fox, his left foreleg weak after his last run-in in this Light-forsaken region. He sent her a flat glare. Now wot?"

Seeing his glare and matching it, she watched him limp a few steps. Not that she really cared but she was stilled annoyed that he refused to tell her how he had hurt it. Probably chasing some stupid squirrel up some tree again. Well, as long as it did not interfere with their trip, she guessed all was well.
"Food" She said in reply to his question, leading the way down the street to the bakery that had caught her eye.
From the many years she had now spent running around with Eir she was more than used to the stares that the two of them, especially together, received. To be honest she enjoyed all of the attention. It was even better the times when Eir grew annoyed and lashed out at the very few passer-by's who happened to stay on the same side of the sidewalk.

Pink ears went backwards as he noted the direction they were heading in. Bakeries were stupid; there was nothing there he would want to eat, though he'd probably be stuck having some stupid bread thing for appearances. Suits, he hated being back in a town.
It was worse being surrounded by the creepy white 'ghosts' of the area; there were few things he hated as much as Tulgeys. His invisible tail lashed from one side to the next in anger, smacking into a medium-sized canine with his nose stuck in a book. The Tulgey looked up with a growl that quickly fell off into silence at the sight of the Yarrow. Eir's ears cocked towards the canine and he smirked to himself before remembering where they were headed.
His ears flattened again and he followed simply because the teen was continuing to lead him that direction. He would go, but he didn't have to be happy about it.

Entering the bakery she went straight for the counter instead of sitting and waiting for Eir to go order for them. Experience had taught her at an early age that if she wanted something done her way, she could not leave the task to Eir. Especially when he was in a testy mood like today.
Reaching the line she cut someone off as they also attempted to make their way to the end of the line. She was not too concerned, after all who would be when you had someone like Eir traveling around with you?
"A raspberry strudel and a sausage wrap, to go." She gave the order, not bothering to confirm or ask her partner's opinion on what he wanted. The man would eat wot she gave him, and he would like it.
Moving to the counter she waited impatiently for her food, her agitation growing with her hunger, also leaving it to Eir - once again - to pay the bill.
