Rhosyn grinned beneath her mask, her toes curling happily as she nestled herself more firmly to her Jack. This was wonderful. An evening alone with Heike was a wondrous thing. Not only did she get quality time but she got the added pleasure of knowing the other Does were alone. The Doe may have put on a sweet and pretty face while in front of her Jack, but deep down she could be a terribly spiteful toward the other Does. Luckily, for now, that was not of her concern.
"You're too generous, My Jack, to take time out for me when you've so much to do." Rhosyn gave him a gently nuzzle and a sweet, contemplative sigh as she debated the evening ahead of them. She still had so much to learn about her Jack, the things he enjoyed and the topics he most liked to discuss, that it left the Doe with a small challenge.
Her little tail twitched and she leaned back, to meet his eyes. "Mm, how about a walk and a romantic dinner?" It would take their small staff some time to prepare, after all, and give Rhosyn some valuable time to get to know Heike along the way.

Heike was, for the most part, fairly easy to please. He enjoyed mostly intellectual things, and he highly doubted that the Doe would ask for something strenuous like a fencing match. It would be unlady like, and he knew that Rhosyn was the type to keep up appearances.
He was blissfully unaware of how catty Does could be. And he would probably remain that way as long as he didn't walk in on something. The paranoid Jack's mind always wandered to different scenarios.
"A nice walk and then a romantic meal would be fantastic. I'll inform the staff and I'll be back to pick you up in a few moments, My Princess." He gave the Doe a light kiss on her mask before departing.
He returned fairly quickly. Things were easily arranged for him to spend alone time with the Bog Doe. They could have a nice little stroll in the Woods and potentially visit the lake that wasn't too far away.

Rhosyn sighed cheerfully in response to the light kiss, her eyes sparkling with pleasure. She waved him goodbye and watched fondly as he vanished out of the room.
One day, she thought to herself as she peered across the room into her mirror, she would find a way to ease the burden of her region and make herself a truly appropriate Doe for Heike. He was a handsome man and he deserved a woman befitting of his splendor. Rhosyn was a proud and even vain Doe, but she was aware of her shortcomings. Her rarity, beauty, and finely made decorations ultimately could only do so much to combat her natural handicaps. Her scent, her mask... Rhosyn knew how to work around them, but there was always the uncertainty that her Jack would tire of a Doe with such troubles.
When Heike returned, Rhosyn pushed her worries from her mind and slipped off the bed to join him. "Shall we?" Outside, the air was crisp and cool and danced through her long mane. Rhosyn kept herself upwind of her Jack, ensuring that the breeze mostly carried her scent away from him. This was the beauty of being outside, her odor wasn't nearly so overwhelming. "It's lovely out this evening," she cooed as her purple eyes scanned the sky above. "I think we might have just enough time to catch the last of the sunset over the lake."

The clean air was a nice change. Though he would hardly admit to the fact that he needed it. The Does scent was a little overwhelming, and they were still finding ways to properly cope with it. Flowers could only cover the scent for so long.
He felt refreshed as they strolled to the Lake. The muted colors of the forest combined with the light was actually settling and the high strung Jack actually seemed to relax. Of course his mind was still whirring in the background, but it was quiet enough that he could ignore it.
"It is such a stunning evening, though it hardly compares to you, My Princess," he said with a bright smile. He scoffed at himself for not bringing a proper blanket for them to take a seat on. "Would you like to sit on the edge of the lake. The reflection off the water adds to the effect of the sunset."
Maybe one day he would properly paint it.

Rhosyn watched Heike from the corner of her eye as they walked, noting the way the tension finally seemed to ease from his shoulders now that they were out in the cool air. From the moment she'd arrived, Rhosyn had made it a point to study her new Jack's quirks and preferences and had quickly discovered Heike's tendency toward holding onto his anxiety. Most Jacks she had known while living in her father's warren had settled their stress through aggression or sex, but Heike remained kind and high strung.
Perhaps the other Does weren't doing a good enough job with the stress relief? Or, what seemed more likely, Heike was just naturally prone to stress.
Either way, Rhosyn planned to learn ways to combat her dear new Jack's stress problems.
"Oh, Heike, you really are too kind." Rhosyn blushed sweetly, dipping her head in pleased bashfulness. As they arrived at the edge of the lake, Rhosyn sighed blissfully. It reminded her a little of the Lakes around Father's warren and left her with a most pleasant nostalgia. "I would love to." Though a blanket may have been nice, Rhosyn too scolded herself for the carelessness of not bringing one, she was more than content to sit on the grassy bank with her Jack.
"It's almost like the lakes back in Selkie." She sighed contentedly. "I thought I'd miss them when I moved, but I must say I've really come to enjoy the forest a great deal. It lends a certain enchanting mystery to everything that the Lakelands just couldn't dream of having."

Heike was just prone to stress. And a shift from a leveret to a Jack had been more than a little stressful. He had been more than a little unprepared by the entire ordeal what went along with becoming a Jack, but anything was better than being a overworked leveret. And this way he had a chance of finding happiness.
He just had to battle with his paranoia.
"There is no such thing as being too kind." He commented. Kindness normally came at a price, after all.
Heike found himself comfortable on the grass. He hadn't done this in such a long time, it was ridiculous. Perhaps he could go out and have a small outing with his sister? He could get away with things like that, he was sure.
"I haven't visited the Lakes before, perhaps I should make time for it?" He said quietly as he stared out at the water. It might be a nice change of pace. "I'm glad you approve of the forest though. I find it nice to be secluded like this, but of course there is a town surprisingly close to here. The good part of Avington is the fact that cards can be less than a mile away and be completely unaware of Rabbits for fear of getting lost in the woods."
