It was a miracle. That was the only thing he could think to call it. By some grace that was beyond him he ended up finding a Doe so he could make the change and not face the terrifying fear of going insane. Rhosyn was something special. Not only did she come from a region that most rabbits had speculated didn't exist anymore, she was... interesting. There wasn't exactly a particular word for it that he could think of, but she was definitely unique among Does. The smell was something to get used to. But her personality made up for it. The warren was tiny and still completely and utterly disheveled. He wanted to check up on her to see if everything was to her liking. She was, after all, one of two other rabbits in the Warren. He knocked on the door and waited for a response.

Rhosyn posed happily in the mirror of her small vanity table, admiring her reflection as the pretty Avington leveret scurried about to tend to her. For one little leveret she had such a surprising variety of skills to showcase - everything from brushing her fur to polishing her mask and even tea-making. Not to mention she put up with Rhosyn's bog-perfume. Indeed, there was little to complain about (and that pleased Rhosyn all on its own) but Rhos always made certain to never be too pleased with any leverets task. Best not to let the little dears get too complacent in the workplace or else they'd start getting sloppy (there was nothing worse than a sloppy leveret). A knock at the door snapped the Doe out of her thoughts and she quickly gave herself a once-over in the mirror to be certain that everything was in place. As confident as she usually was, this was a new place and... well, she couldn't help but be a little nervous around a new Jack. Perfectly normal, she reassured herself, and (without prompting) the leveret chirped up as well: "You look lovely, m'lady." Rhsoyn grinned, but waved a paw dismissively. "Of course, I'm well aware of that." It was easy to feign more confidence than she really felt and the leveret didn't seem to mind the snottiness that had briefly crept into her tone. "That will be all, fetch the door and you can be on your way." It was surely Heike and she would want to devote her full attention to him.

Nadja smiled and bowed her head. "Of course, Miss. Just ring if you need me." It was just a quick hop to the door and there was Heike framed in the archway. Even now Nadja was still reeling from all the changes they had made in such a short amount of time. Her brother, her beloved brother... To see him as a Jack made her heart flutter and her cheeks flush with pride. He was handsome and, in this form, she knew he was finally happy. It was what he'd deserved from birth, he'd always had the brilliance for it (even their old Jack had been forced to accept his prowess even as a lowly Leveret). "Good evening, Sir, I was just on my way out." Despite herself Nadja's smile had grown to a beaming grin, though she controlled her voice well with a proper leveret's respect for her Jack. With a final little bow, Nadja slipped passed and was on her way back to the kitchen. Yet another adjustment, being only one of few in a brand new Warren that still needed a great deal of tending. Ah well, if that was the only price to pay for all the good that had come as of late then Nadja was more than willing to take the extra workload in stride. Anything for her brother's happiness.

Heike shouldn't have been surprised by Nadja's presence in the room. She was one of few leverets at the moment, and Rhosyn needed quite a bit of attention. With things still being in such disarray he didn't have as much time as he wanted to spend with her.
The rabbit smiled at the leveret and nodded. She seemed so much happier here. That made him relax quite a bit as he focused his attentions on the Doe in front of him. Ever since he had become a Jack his nerves had been far less bothersome when he was alone. Of course when he had to face some monumental event he would be back to his old panic attacks that he hoped one day he would be able to internalize. As it was he looked far less stressed than he used to. "My goodness, you look absolutely stunning today. Then again you always look stunning so I shouldn't be so surprised should I?"
He shut the door lightly behind him after Nadja left. "And how is everything going for you? Do you like the arrangements Rhosyn."

Rhosyn laid elegantly across the bed, her little tail perked and her long ears tilted toward him. She ignored the familiar pause between the two Avingtons, using the brief moment to properly prepare herself for his presence.
This was all so new still and she wanted to make a good impression. She'd already heard gossip from the leverets that he had favorites and Rhosyn did so hate having to share what was rightfully hers. Not to worry, though, because she was stunning and exotic and it would be all too easy to seduce a Jack.
"Why thank you, My Jack. It's only appropriate that I be stunning for you." She flashed a coy smile and stretched herself lightly, purple eyes fixed on him. "You and your warren never cease to surprise me, managing so much on so little. How wonderful it is to have such an ambitious Jack."

Oh, she was a keeper.
Heike couldn't help but enjoy all of this attention Being a Jack was far more fun than being a Leveret as far as socializing with women was concerned. And having women actually battle for his attention.
He smiled, doing his best not to look like an idiot. "May I share a seat with you?" the rabbit said as he motioned to the empty spot on the bed besides her. He had every right to make himself comfortable, but he had to keep his manners.
Shooting himself in the foot and losing a Doe was a horrible idea. Especially this early in his life as a Jack. He didn't want to get a horrible reputation or anything like that. What would happen if he did get a bad name.
A small bout of panic started welling up inside of his head. The worries going greater and more ridiculous with each step. Outwardly the only sign of his mild panic attack was the furious twitching of his tail. He snapped back to reality fairly quickly when he took a seat by the Doe.
"I'm thrilled that my humble warren could actually accommodate someone such as yourself."

When Heike requested a seat, Rhosyn smiled charmingly and slid ever so slightly to the side. "Of course you may." He would have just enough room to sit and she would still be deliciously close to him once he was by her side. His twitching tail caught her attention - a sign of stress, perhaps? - but the Doe kept her expression the perfect mask of pleasant expectation. She wanted him close and she wanted that to be equally obvious to him.
Rhosyn gave him a sweet kiss on the cheek and a sultry smile. "Humble beginnings are often for the best. What better way to show the makings of a Jack than to build something grand out of nothing? It teaches a Jack to be a true Gentleman, something so lacking in some of the spoiled Jacks I've heard of."
Though Rhosyn prided herself on being a well-taught Doe with a quick and clever mind, she did not put herself above the flattery of Jacks. What better use of a clever tongue than to charm with silvery words? It was, after all, a Doe's purpose to be beautiful and alluring in all senses.

She had a silver tongue, there was no denying that. He was going to keep her around for a while, even if she did smell rather... off, her other qualities out shinned that little fact. The Jack gave her a warm smile. "You're far more understanding than some Does. Not many would be willing to put up with anything other than being spoiled rotten."
He remembered when he was a leveret and there was that wonderful Doe he had to tend to. She would treat him like absolutely nothing, and his sister would get all of the praise just because she was female. Of course he had to give Does as a whole the benefit of the doubt. There was Igni who had been nothing like the other Does.
And now there was Rhosyn. "You do know you can call me by my name, yes? I find it far more appropriate to be on a first name basis. You are, after all, a princess here."

Rhosyn smiled wide beneath her mask and, though that may have been lost, the sparkle of her eyes was as clear as day. She had trained herself over the years to make up for the little lost expressions hidden under her mask until it was perfectly habit to bring the smile to her eyes then, or to giggle just so when necessary, and always there was the charm of language to fill the gaps of expression.
"But I am spoiled rotten. Less in quantity most definitely is not less in quality." The doe slid closer to her jack, a silky paw resting lightly against his leg. His words were silvery too, or perhaps golden would've been more appropriate. He was cordial and charming, just as a Jack should be, but there was something a little more than what she was used to.. warmer? That was probably it. Either way, Rhosyn had great love of it.
She blushed fondly , though it was also hidden by her mask, and so she made sure to lightly lid her eyes and let the thrill of pleasure quiver along her spine, ending in a cheerful flick of her cottony tail. Mm, she so did love to be called a Princess. "I do, Heike."

Oh it was always nice to hit the right spots when you were flirting. She had such a wonderful reaction when he called her "Princess." The Jack would have kissed her if it wasn't for the mask that was covering her mouth, and the fact that she secreted those oils.
Maybe one day he could find something that would get rid of the smell. He could probably send one of the leverets to find something at the local market. There was a nice little town not too far away. That was the wonderful thing about Avington, things may have been close but the trees often obscured everything. It was comfortable and safe. And it made him far less paranoid.
"Well, My princess, is there anything you would like to do in particular this evening. I decided to take a break from all the work that I have to do. I figured we might as well do something special."
