Felix gave Zuberi a wide, mischievous grin. "And you certainly know how to blush prettily," he responded a beat later, golden eyes shining. It had been a very good idea to come here. In fact, why hadn't he done it years ago? The warm sun and the feel of the sand under his paws...the scents of flowers and fish and just a hint of something a bit heavier underneath...it was almost like coming home. He nodded, tilting his head and watching unashamedly as she straightened up.
Age wasn't generally something Felix let himself be concerned with, anyway (well, unless whoever he was flirting with turned out to bee too young...then he cared, of course), but if he had, he certainly wouldn't have pegged the woman in front of him for a day over thirty. The Porcupine nodded cheerfully. "Sounds good to me!" He followed her at an unhurried waddle, looking around and nose twitching at interesting things they passed. He had a feeling that Zuberi was not the sort of woman who'd get annoyed with him for wanting to enjoy the walk as well.

Zuberi made her way to the streets with an easy sway, making her way around a Jossigy mix tourist who turned his head to watch her pass. She got that a lot it seemed, and if it wasn't because of her human form, her magical allure, or her absolute strangeness, then it would be her rank. There really weren't many high ranked cards in the town.
She found an empty seat and sat down, setting her bandaged left hand down on the table while the other one propped up her chin. The menu was drawn up onto a board, one side in the Midori script while the other side was common for all to read. It had a variety of things on the menu from seafood to a variety of jerked meats and stews.
"Be mindful of the jerked chicken; it's a bit on da hot side."
She pulled out a small tin from her purse, pulling out rolling paper and a bag of green herb. She glanced up, as if suddenly remembering she was sitting with a non-native. "Oh! Do ya mind?"

Felix hopped ungracefully up onto the chair next to Zuberi, settling in and letting his quills sit in a relaxed position. He ran a paw through them absently as he looked at the menu, then turned to grin at the woman next to him. "Heh, thanks for lettin' me know!" Really, though, he didn't mind spicy food. Although...maybe the food here was spicier than it was in the Lakes? That would make sense. From what he'd seen so far, the Midori knew how to have a good time and make the most of all the best things in life.
Speaking of which...His nose tickled at a familiar smell and he turned to watch what Zuberi was doing, ears perking forward. "Ah, nah, not at all, dude," he said, looking down at the herb. A slight pause, but he was never one to be shy or let an opportunity go to waste. "Don't suppose you brought enough to share?" he asked hopefully. How long had it been since he'd gotten his paws on some of the good stuff? Far too long! Since the last major market day the previous month.
