Hearing his request she was silent for a moment. There were many different options here, and though he could probably take her on in a real battle this was something that, in a sense, leveled out the playing field.
Weighing out her options she also took into account his personality and display of character thus far. Sanity not taken into account - he had been a case of his own - he was not the worst of those in the Court but she had definitely seen better.
After a long moment of remaining silent she gave a nod of her head. "I suppose that would be something that you would want to keep quiet, everything taken into account."
It was not so much what the news getting out would do for him, after all she did not care much what happened to him, but what damage it could do to the Court that finally decided her decision.
"I will hold my silence."

Cooperation was a good thing. Really, Apocalypse liked knowing that the woman was still living at the Court. She was all that remained of the older group of nobles, a memory of something that had passed. As much as he made her uncomfortable - no fault of her own, of course, simply of her brother's - it was good to have at least one Highland Heart left in the Court. Had she tried to hold his existence over him like some kind of prize, he wasn't sure what he would have done.
It was easier for all parties that she reacted this way.
The pale man bowed his head, closing his eyes as he did. "Thank you for that. It has been a difficult enough transition all on its own, so I'm thankful for your cooperation." He opened his eyes again, giving the woman a rather curious glance and considering his next words carefully. "There had been rumors that you no longer lived here. Have you considered seeking out a title?"

At his comment about the rumor she gave a shrug. That one in particular came to no surprise for her. "That is not the first time that I have heard that one in particular. As you can clearly see for yourself, it is not true." It was no one's business than her own what she did with her time when she was behind the scenes.
She shifted her head to the side, in a very reptilian manner, at his second question. "As of right now I am content to simply watch from behind." Over the years she had been questioned both by others as well as by herself over if she would take an official capacity within the ranks of the Court. While she had no doubt that she would excel, it simply had not appealed to her.
No, for now at least she was content to stay to herself and remain ever watchful.
