Abilities
Basic Magical Ability: He can ignore moderate amounts of pain for up to an hour.
Moderate Magical Ability: When activated, he gains an immediate proficiency with any weapon that he picks up. This can be activated and deactivated at will.
Strong Magical Ability: When activated, he can inflict mental pain on another card of any suit, once per day. The degree of pain is equivalent to that of a thick needle being slowly sunk through you left eye. Cards Eight and below will fully succumb to this pain and probably pass out. Nines, Tens, and Jacks will have severe concentration issues. Other Kings and Queens easily ignore it
Powerful Magical Ability: When activated, he can control the mind of a lesser Heart for up to twenty minutes, once per week. The individual being controlled would know and the degree of control is nearly perfect, except for one thing. They must carry his snake cane at all times or the spell will immediately fail.
Jack's Ability: If he collects a full cup of his own venom and drinks it, it gives him the ability to numb another person entirely by touch alone for one hour. (Note: It would take about three weeks to collect a cup of his own venom. He has to milk himself.)
King's Ability: Once per month, he can touch a person and reduce their height to that of one foot high. This ability wears off after twenty-four hours. This applies to Cards of any ranks, including Queens, with the only exception being Jokers.
Amazing Ability: Once a week, he is now able to cause another Card to feel as though their entire body is alight with a terrible fire, though nothing is actually happening to them. This horrific sensation will last for an hour, and causes the victim to still be able to talk, but to be unable to cast all but two of their own spells (victim's Dealer's choice) until the next day.
While in motion, this spell has one last, terrible effect. Once the spell has passed, the caster may choose anything he likes about the Card he has just victimized and (for 50p and with the victim's Dealer's permission) steal that physical attribute for himself. (For example, if he likes someones mane, he may (after asking the Dealer) take it for himself and leave the poor victim bald...worse effects may follow if he likes, say, their chin...)
