The scars left by the operation are slightly scary, but one would have to dig under the feathers to see them. Most likely only a lover will ever even know of them.
Abilities
Basic Magical Ability: She can act charismatic and persuasive at times, whether or not she actually has the natural charm and grace to pull it off.
Moderate Magical Ability: When activated, she can decipher up to two languages of the player's choosing. These languages are in addition to the common tongue and the Diamond house language.
(Poe's languages are -- and Villa en Miir)Note: Due to being raised first in Torquehelm and then being moved to The Tulgey Wood at a young age, Poe has learned both Torque and Tulgey fluently without use of her Diamond Ability.
Strong Magical Ability: When activated, she can cast a lie-detector spell on a card off any suit and of a rank lesser or equal to their own, once per day. Cards of equal rank would be aware of the spell, but cards of lesser rank would not.
Powerful Magical Ability: When activated, she can fly for twenty minutes. Winged Diamonds can use this ability for effortless, perfectly controlled flight.
Small Ability: Once a week, she can now cause her own reflection to shimmer in and out of existence in reflective surfaces for a full ten minutes. The image is disturbing to passersby and can cause Cards ranked 5 and lower to get small headaches.
Amazing Ability: Once a day, Poe is able to manipulate opium smoke into any conceivable shape and to change its color to anything she likes or fancies. The shapes will (without intense concentration) often take on forms such as small hearts or dragons or even letters, that tumble out of her mouth as she speaks.
Once a month, however, this ability can have a deadly back-hand to it.
Once a month she is able to create a massive, 20 foot long dragon comprised of opium smoke, it will last for a full minute and it's body and claws may not be "real", but it's teeth and fire certainly are. It can shoot out a stream 12 feet long of blue flame three times in its minute. The flame is not strong enough to burn through magical weaponry, but it will certainly burn the wielder. Its body is also comprised of thick opium smoke, causing nostalgia, wistfulness, and lazitude in those who inhale it.
