All eyes were on her, it seemed. It was not really something she was accustomed to. And from what this woman was saying, it seemed that Sabe's very queenship was in her hand. Damned bureaucratic trifle.
"Several ways." Zuberi began, steadying herself and standing just a bit taller under the scrutiny of the woman. "Firstly, my line of work. I do magic for a living; and I'm... able to do things for people. Things to help them.
She didn't want to go into a long-winded explanation about her powers; rambling wasn't becoming of a woman of her age. "And I'm looking to find Finistris. And see that he meets his proper end. I could be of help to all the courts when it comes to finding him; I hear that he not be picky about which suit he kills. He has already brutally attacked Heart nobles."

She could hold her own under pressure. Anoushka did have to give the bizarre woman that. It was a feature that she appreciated, and in a way admired. It had taken her more than a few years to manage herself as well as she did. Many years of trial, of travel, and of testing.
"Magic is a valuable skill, especially vhen paired vith the influence of a Court. A very useful tool. And ve can alvays use help." She watched the pair of them thoughtfully before focusing once more on Zuberi. "And that serial killer, ve are looking to put an end to his killing spree. I honestly hadn't been sure of his name before you said it just now. I'd heard bits and pieces of his atrocities, and the vord of his attacks on members of the Court of Hearts vere... surprising, to say the least. Rather shocking. Those bastards are normally hardy enough to handle themselves just fine in a fight. Ve're looking at a serious threat in this man."
Leaning back, she turned her attention to Sabe and slowly inclined her head. "Very vell. You have fulfilled the requirements of my qvest. Our Court could use you. I have my Qveen's permission to approve you as von of our own. And so I vill. Congratulations, Your Majesty."

Sabe didn't quite know what they were talking about, some man that seemed to be going about and killing those that were in office in the courts. He hadn't heard of anything and that wasn't all to nice of a thought. He was beside himself to sitting down and not agreeing with this at all if it meant that he was going to end up dead by some man named Finistris. It was even sad that he hadn't even heard of some notorious criminal that was head hunting.
He gave a auditable gulp as he blinked a bit sitting back into his chair like he had signed his own death warrant. He looked up when the woman spoke to him and just nodded and then forgetting the mans name and what he was up to did he just smile broadly and clear his throat.
" I think ye your Highness Anoushka. This quest that you have trialed me on was quite difficult to find that person that I would think would make the perfect addition to the Court of Clubs." he said as he stood up and then took a bow before the woman. Though something else crossed his mind.
" Umm... if I can ask... " he cleared his throat once again, " So there is no ceremony or something that happens that will announce this... or more or like sign here and report here?"

Post-quest nerves? Anoushka had to refrain from smirking. He didn't know what he was in for - he would be put to work with them and she would make sure of it! Even if she didn't have long for this world, she'd make damn sure that a new Queen knew what the Court needed of him. It would just take a little while.
"Oh no, there vill be a ceremony. This is the Court. Ve're all about pomp and circumstance, except behind closed doors. And that door is closed. I don't give a shit for the protocol in my own office except for respect shown to me, and even then, I'm going to punch you in the face before I fuss at you. I'll need to arrange things before I can give you a date and time, but there vill be an official velcome to the Court, a meet-and-greet, probably some lunch, and all of that. And then I'm putting you to vork and making sure you know how to do it like a Club."
((Aaaaand we're done. ^_^ Sabe is a Queen of the Court and this quest is officially complete. Although I'm curious, Naf - in the beginning of the thread, Sabe and Zuberi were briefly talking about bringing Finistris to justice, so I was pretty sure he knew? Regardless, whee! Congrats.))
