If you're wondering why I just threw ample amounts of art out it was an attempt to prevent me from having my hopes and dreams crushed by a particular visiting artist.
Well it failed pretty hard, so I'm probably not going to produce anymore work for a while. Anyway, here you go.

Title: Voice of Doubt
Comments: The voice in Xiven's head likes to slap all her angry buttons at once. And it doesn't like Pale... just because he's a Heart actually, but buttons.
Xiven was trying to do her paperwork. She honestly was, but the interruptions never stopped. This one though, this was one of the biggest surprises.
He doesn't respect you, you know?
It was the voice again. The one she had thought was a hallucination. Maybe it still was? Maybe she should get up and go to the doctor right now?
Come on now, admit it. That man just thinks you're another one of his hoes.
Xiven twitched. "He does not."
He does too. What do you think he would do if you slept with another man? He'd kill him!
Setting her pen down she rubbed her forehead. This wasn't what she needed right now. And why the hell would someone who lived in her head hate Apocalypse so much? Or all Hearts for that matter. This lovely voice was pretty damn persistent about hating just about everyone who walked through her door.
You know I'm right. And you know he doesn't give you the respect you deserve.
"Why are you doing this? To annoy me?"
No. I'm trying to make you see that this place isn't good for you. You're the Queen of Hearts but everyone treats it like it's some sort of joke.
"Are you suggesting I leave?"
You wouldn't take that advice. So I suggest you beat the shit out of that douche bag and learn some more spells.
"You do realize I love that man and had his children for a reason?"
Love. Look where that got you with Rhi. She loved you too right? And you honestly think your love with him is going to last? Ha!
That stung. The whole conversation did, but that stung the most. She covered her face with her hands, trying her hardest not to cry.
Don't... don't do that. They're not worth crying over.
"Shut up," she grumbled.
Emeraude.
"What?"
My name is Emeraude. I told you before, but you were pretty sick at the time. I'm sorry... I didn't mean to make you cry. I just, you know, want you to be happy. And that man is not happiness.
"But...."
Yeah yeah. You love him. Hell if I know why when he dicks around with all those other women. You're the Queen of Hearts, you should be the one dicking around with other people. You have all the power in the world at the tip of your fingers and you just sit here and take his shit. People over look you and you've once again just become that little Torquehelm girl that everyone over looks.
Why exactly was she listening to the voice in her head when it was degrading her so terribly? The woman bit down on her lower lip as she tried her hardest not to scream bloody murder at the voice in her head. She must be going crazy. She took several deep breaths as she struggled to remain calm.
You know I'm right.
"You are NOT right," Xiven hissed. "He loves me, People respect me, and people notice me. Shove it."
So why exactly are you filled with so much self doubt. Maybe you should h--
"I don't know how but if you finish that statement I will find a way to end you. I don't know how but I will."
Yes ma'am.
There was a light knock on the door that made Xiven jump. Her eyes widened as she realized she had in fact been talking out loud the entire time. "Come in," she said rather cheerfully.
Othello nudged the door open, peering it and looking at the general direction of his mother. "You okay Mom?"
"Just fine, is there something you wanted?"
"Ah, I wath wondering if you'd be okay with me going ot the capital with Xander."
The woman's face twisted into one of worry. "I'm not sure that's such a great idea sweetie...."
"Tho why were you talking to youthelf?"
You're going to let him take advantage of you, aren't you?
Xiven cleared her throat both at the boy and the voice in her head. This was just fantastic, wasn't it? "To be honest I was talking to the voice in my head. Anyway, I don't think you should go to the capital without an adult. So go and pester Grandma Peaches to go with you."
Othello's eyes widened briefly before he gave a small nod and slipped out of the room.
Once she was sure the boy was gone, the woman slammed her head against her desk. It was enough to make her cringe from the blow. Maybe if she hit her head hard enough it would eradicate the voice in her head?
You're only hurting yourself.
She whimpered. This day was just getting better and better. "Just shut up, please."
There was another knock on the door. Xiven didn't even bother to remove her head from the desk. "Come in," she said, the exasperation clearly seeping into her voice. She she shifted her head to look at who it was she drooped. Apocalypse. "We were supposed to have lunch together, weren't we?"
This one is Blue's fault
