Does anyone else get that feeling of nostalgia when they hear a song they haven't heard for a while? Near the beginning of my time here on this forum, I listened to this song a lot. Then I didn't listen to it for the longest time. Now every time I hear it, I think of younger versions of Heilyn and Seth and a slightly less old version of Bernard. Crazy. (I will admit: I also listened to it when I secretly/not-so-secretly shipped Heilyn and Bernard as an actual couple. So when I hear this song, I often imagine scenes of them being all cute and cuddly... which then quickly turns into scenes of them having horrid arguments, breaking up and Heilyn finding Seth after some time. Thus proving that the BerLyn pairing doesn't even work in an alternate universe that lives in a fangirl's mind. XDD ) Any songs from you guys? Doesn't have to be SoD related, but it certainly can be! And I'm not talking about songs from last month, I mean stuff from years ago. Do the Backstreet Boys make you think of High/middle school? Does hearing the music from a game you played in elementary school make you tear with joy? Does a certain song/band remind you of when your starter SD was an ickle little thing? Share it!

N'sync tends to remind me of how much of a dork I am. I still have it on my ipod because every once in a while I have to listen to how bad it is. Romancing Train reminds me of a time when Anime was not cool and I hadn't met my former roommate who is the champion of fantards everywhere. I miss the good old days of crappy animation and decent "wtf" plot.

For some reason the Decemberists' "Leslie Ann Levine" makes me think of Helena. XD My brain has just always associated it with her, for lyrically vague reasons, but somehow the mood always seemed right. Mnem kinda got associated with The Hazards of Love album after I decided she sounded like the Evil Forest Queen. "The Queen's Rebuke" and "The Rake's Song" all the way, baby.
The Green Day song "Ha Ha You're Dead" will always carry special meaning for Dark and me, as we put it on repeat while writing our three essays per week in AP European History, which we would get together and commiserate over. It was a very cathartic song. We also used to play WoW to Trapt's "Headstrong", because we were SO HARDCORE YOU GUYS, you don't even KNOW. Back off, guys, my Druid will take you ON!
