Summer Fail

SO here's the scoop.

Anywhere from May 21 to June 9 I will be without my laptop, as it is a piece of shit and is going in to have basically everything other than the screen and the harddrive replaced. I will have access to a computer, but it won't be mine and therefore I have no idea how much I'm going to want to touch it. >>; I don't know exactly when it's going in or coming back, other than I know it damn well better be back before I leave for camp.

June 10 through August 12(ish) I will be in Hayward, WI working at a summer camp. I'll be part of the kitchen staff, and thus less restricted than the counselors, but my time, energy and internet access will be limited. :/ I will have my computer with me, but there won't be internet in the room - it'll be in some common room that I'm sure they'll try to kick me out of if I'm in for any extended period of time. I get all of my evenings and Sundays off, though, so I'm dearly hoping this means I'll be able to get my internet and writing fix in then.

I apologize in advance if it ends up meaning I won't be around at all. I know I've been really absent this year between work and school, but I'm going to do my best to stay active through all of this. <3

I know a lot of you have my phone number and email and facebook and whatnot, but if anyone else wants any of the above please give me a PM. I'd love to stay in touch with all of you even if I can't be around to rp!

Update!

Camp is going fine. I have internet access up the gazoo, but not a whole lot of time to myself to use it. My breaks aren't very long and usually I try to go outside and do something fun versus spending it on the computer.

If anyone wants to start an email correspondence, let me know through PM or something. It's really the only way I can guarantee I'll keep in touch - I'll be checking in on SoD but not every day.

I'M BACK.

Long story short: Camp ended up being the worst decision I could have made for myself and I'm now home for the rest of the summer. Details to follow. I don't even want to think about it for another day or two. I'll be lurking for a few days while I regain some sense of sanity, so feel free to poke me on AIM <3 Posts to follow!
