Notes: This beautiful little boy can thank his odd necklace for the strange effect on his ears. He has twin amber eyes on his ears and amber colored eyes when they probably should have been blue. The eyes in his ears have far more than simply perfect vision, they are also capable of seeing heat, cold, lies, and smells in various colors that he will be able to define by adulthood, though they may confuse him as a child.
Unfortunately, this amazing mutation has cost him most of his ability to hear properly, he can hear, but not at all well and often cannot hear whispers in the slightest.
Basic Magical Ability: He can ignore moderate amounts of pain for up to an hour.
Moderate Magical Ability: When activated, he gains an immediate proficiency with any weapon that he picks up. This can be activated and deactivated at will.
Strong Magical Ability: When activated, he can inflict mental pain on another card of the Suit of Clubs, once per day. The degree of pain is equivalent to that of thumbscrews being pressed into the eardrums.

Notes: The only thing Sorgaire about this odd boy are his stone grey eyes. Other than that, he's pure Avington, and with quite a secret to keep. Due to his necklace, he is able to see perfectly in the dark, and in color; but as a result of leaving it on too long, he has lost the ability to tell when the sun is out or not, the day and night look exactly the same to his eyes. He will not be able to tell when the sun is setting or rising and will have to rely on time pieces to know what time of day it is.
His mix of species is...strange.
Not enough for him to be ostracized, but enough that people will stare. He looks an awful lot like a Hippogryph...though the Suit and Rank markings are nice to see.
