1. Tickets may not be thrown into the melting pot, sorry. They just won't do anything.

2. Babies are indeed eligible for the Burdened tickets, they will be assumed on the cusp of adulthood for the occasion...just remember that you will not get that character back, but a new one in its place.
(Yes, this includes baby Rabbits. You will be asked to specify if you want more Rabbits or something else when you use the ticket on them.)
