Very shortly, the Tickets extravaganza will commence.
If you do not have any tickets, or if you did not manage to get a hold of the tickets you wanted, fear not. About three days prior to the contest, tickets will be on sale for a very short period of time. They will be cheap, though burdened tickets may cost a bit more than any others.
Look through your characters and decide who, what, and how you may want to either progress or destroy them. Soon, it will be upon you. This is the beautiful question thread.
Please feel free to ask ANY and ALL questions below and I will answer to the best of my ability before we open shop and begin the party.

Is this going to be done RP-style? Like a quest or something? Will the character involved gain points (such a plot points, etc)?
So, for a plain ticket, would it be appropriate to use a character that (ultimately) I know where they're going and how they'll end up, but I'd like to work to deepen their personality along the way? Or, with one of the more extreme tickets - Burdened, Mutant, Dangerous? - would it be possible to do something outrageous like turn a Rabbit into a Card or vice versa?
For the ticket sale, would I be able to 'sell' my current ticket to help buy different ones? Or should I trade it off now? (Psst, if anyone is interested in trading a Burdened or Dangerous for a Deluxe, feel free to drop me a PM and we'll pick over it.)
I think I had more to ask but I'm currently not entirely coherent but I'll be back. Oh yes, I shall be back. :3 [rolls off]

If we already have tickets, can we buy more? Or is the sale strictly for people that have no tickets so far?

What is the scope of crazy things that could happen to our characters? What I mean is, will it completely and utterly change them or can it even kill them? Like should you not enter any character that you like their appearance (by this I mean Suit, Region, Breed(s))?

If you don't want them dead then there is only one sort of ticket you shouldn't use. I believe this sale is for anyone, tickets or no tickets. I'll leave the rest to Nat to answer.

I know for a fact I won't have internet access. :/ Hopefully there'll be some way I can send mine in late or something.

*Cracks Knuckles* Ok, here we go. 1. It can be taken RP-style after your ticket has been redeemed in some cases, yes. Some Dangerous ticket results will have RP requirements, as will some deluxe tickets. Burdened tickets will require no RP unless you desire it, as will it be with most of the regular tickets. 2. So, for a regular ticket, would it be appropriate to use a character that (ultimately) I know where they're going and how they'll end up, but I'd like to work to deepen their personality along the way? (A) Yes, for a regular ticket, you're best bet is to work with a character that you love the way they are...but have become mildly stagnant or never really developed on a deeper level. This works the same way with a Deluxe ticket, with the exception that you get two characters in on the action for a reduced price. This ticket also ensures that the two you submit have plots that tie them together somehow. (B) For a Burdened ticket you will want to use only a character that you have no more connection to because this ticket assures the player that their character will die, they will receive a newer and cooler one in the old characters place. The new characters will have the opportunity to roll up rare mutations, familiars, and Realms too. (C) For a Mutation ticket, use a character you don't like the look of, or have grown bored with because their looks will change beyond any hope of repair maybe in ways you'll like, maybe in ways you won't. The only guarantee is that the change will be fabulous and hard to obtain otherwise. (Yes, the possibility of changing Breed/Realm/or Rank is an option...) (D) A Dangerous ticket should only be used if you don't mind your character suffering irreparable damage. I can assure you that fights will break out, limbs and other bits may be lost and incredible scarring will ensue. The only guarantee here is that the character submitted will not lose their life. Each character submitted for a dangerous ticket either WILL be, or will be placed in a situation where it is highly probably that they will be, beaten very sorely. In return, however, they often gain incredible personality ties and friends that may come to their rescue. They will also learn an ability or interesting magnitude (It varies by dice), or get a familiar. 3. You will not be able to sell back tickets, you may trade them away all you like or hoard them to yourself. Someone else can, however, buy the one you want and then trade you. 4. If you already have tickets, you may indeed buy more and the amount you may have is unlimited. The people who gained theirs through the contest got them for free and have higher percentages assigned to theirs. 5. Greenie, think on what you want and some might be able to be held for you. ~Nathalia

Xenon has questions not for Nat but for the board at large!
She has two Dangerous tickets, and would like to trade one of them for a Mutated ticket! If anyone is interested, please just give me a poke. <3

About the Burdened Ticket, how much control would I have over the new character? Do I get to lay down a couple suggestions, is it similar to the original character at all, or is it just completely random?
Xenon: If I get a chance when the ticket sale opens, I'll trade a Mutated for one of your Dangerous tickets.<3

Similar to Vyn's question, is a mutated ticket mutation purely random, or is it plot related?
(Say a young corvie happened to find himself sneaking peeks at grandma's notes on gene-splicing.... *COUGH* Joel *COUGH*)
