Pravus was in a corridor, the dark expanse stretched before him and a door was at the far end. A drowning feeling enveloped him and he began to run. The further he ran, the further the door seemed to get until suddenly, it was right before him.
Now that he had actually reached the door he didn't want to open it. Soft happy humming and the sound of screams came from the other side. The screams sent shivers up his back and his fur on end.
He backed away slowly, terrified before turning quickly to run back the way he had come. And yet, there was the door, in front of him again. No matter where he turned that door was there, haunting him. Forcing him through it.
A few tears rolled down his face before he pressed his shoulder against the heavy wood and setting it in motion. The door creaked open. . .
Pravus stood frozen looking at the scene that greeted him on the other side. His parents on the floor. Their gorgeous gold, red and white stained by the darker red of their blood. Pravus whimpered and continued forwards, the soft song growing louder around him.
He dropped to the ground between his parents snuggling against them both, getting drenched in their blood as their sightless eyes stared forwards.
"No. . . . no. . . ." He repeated.
"Oh yes" A voice said and he swung around in time. . to see the White Rabbit. His crimson eyes boring straight through him. "Definately yes" The rabbit continued before opening his mouth and singing.
The song rose around him and the rabbit sang, mockingly.
Happy twitchy tail,
Bobbing all around.
Crimson pools of candy,
All over the ground.
Ruby empty eyes,
Looking at my soul.
Parents are all gone now,
Why do I have to go?
The twitchy tail he comes,
Sharp pain and then it's dark.
All that is left for me,
I don't know. .
I don't see. .
All is dark.
Before swinging a large piece of wood down and over Pravus' head. . .

Pravus woke in a cold sweat. Panting and heaving for air. That song, and those eyes, circling through his mind over and over again..
