And where have I been for the past three-ish days you ask? I lost track when I hit 16 hours on this thing. and here are detailed shots: All the patterns are based off Victorian patterns. *still has so much art to make.* I could add a few more hours into this... but for now.

I... wow. Damn. Loss for words, here, Kari. This turned out absolutely AMAZING. Seriously, wow. I am in awe. The colors, patterns, textures... It's just divine. Excellent work. <33 Her eye makes me so damn happy. So do her ears. And the fur in general. Wow. Wooooow.

So it took me a while to actually stop looking at this to actually write to tell you how incredible this looks. Seriously. I am absolutely stunned. I always knew you were good at placing color very tastefully, but the attention to detail you put on top of that brings this to a level of epic I am going to attempt to describe. I love how beautiful that red cloth of her outfit looks. It's just so shimmery and eye-catching. The way you've colored and shadowed this really does something wonderful stylistically to the piece. And the smoke! God, I can almost smell it it looks so good. XD It really adds something amazing to the atmosphere of this work. It's both dingy and romantic in an incredibly odd way. I also really love her feet. XD the way you did the paw pads and the purple fur that frames it is just lovely. And the face! The smirk and the teeth all pointy and bright. They're a bit menacing. x3 And the details in the texture and the patterns are brilliant. I am so impressed and am loving this piece, Kari. I know it took you forever and I know it's a pain, but I request more like this. I am honestly stunned.

I had to log in and comment on this immediately, because damn. XD You can rest confident that your 16+ hours on this really shows. I love the fur (especially on the tail for some reason; I'm quite enchanted by the tail) and the picture in the background, and the lenses on the goggles--the texture everywhere is great. I love the little kitty detail in her face, especially the nose--and the whiskers. Especially the eye whiskers. The purple and red color palate, coupled with the smoke, makes it feel really self-contained and almost oppressive, which is the perfect Victorian atmosphere. XD
Sweet freakin' work, in other words. <3
