Enzili was lost. Again. Not just mildly lost with a faint idea of which way his old Warren was, but absolutely mind-numbingly lost with little hope of finding his way back anywhere. The Midori Grass wasn't helping any, but it kept him from panicking over his previous situation...or his present one for that matter. He was on the run from yet another Jack who had taken the assumption that his pretty pink mane meant he was meant to be a Doe. It was never fun when one of those horny boys realized they were pining after...another boy. With an anxious shiver, he hopped a little faster and made his way off the 'beaten path' so to speak. Which, of course, did nothing for helping that 'being lost' problem he was having. He was out of herb though, so the cloud of smoke that had taken up residence in his skull should be fading soon. So he continued wandering, ignoring the familiar paw prints in the dirt or the trees he was silently sure he'd seen at least tree times, and took up humming the old pirate songs he'd grown up listening to. His old wet nurse had been fond of all those old stories and had filled his head with them time and time again. So long as he was far enough from his old Jack -- and if he was lost then he probably was -- then there was no use in worrying over the small things. Eventually someone would happen upon him and he could ask for directions.

Waving off one of the Leverets he headed out of the Burrow. He needed some time alone and when that happened nothing seemed to treat the mood better then a nice walk. The serenity of being alone mixed with the familiarity of the Lake always clamed him. Heading down the slightly worn path that lead to his Burrow he started off on his regular path. He had built his Burrow a nice distance away from any Cards. While the creatures amused him every now and then he definitely did not want them intruding on his area. Thank you very much. As he walked he started to get lost in his mind wondering and thinking over different things, such as jewelry ideas for his Does along with his needs and wants, not to mention the different connects he had and would need to make with the different Jacks. If he came across anyone during his walk he was likely not to notice them unless they caught his attention or they actually stumbled upon each other.

Stumbling was something Enzili did quite nice, if not so gracefully.
He was finally starting to get tired and hungry and his body was wearing down considerably as he trudged about. Worse yet, in his exhaustion and hunger, Zili was finally starting to acknowledge the rut of his own pawprints in the dirt and...well, just how hopelessly lost he was.
The leveret stopped humming, picked up his pace, and rounded a bend of trees...
Only to stumble heavily into a large Jack.
Oh no.
Oh no, no... That wasn't what Zili had intended his afternoon to end in. Shock cleared the rabbit's head in an instant and the boy tumbled back onto his cottony rear. "I- I'm sorry, Sir!" His head dropped a moment later in subservient fear. Whatever happened, he just hoped this Jack was the forgiving sort or -- at very least -- not the sadistic sort that might find amusement in prodding at a lone Leveret that had trampled on his foot.

There was nothing to take you out of day dreaming like suddenly being plowed into, even at a walking pace.
Reacting on instinct more then anything else he quickly reached out to steady whoever it was that had bumped into him. Looking down he registered that it was a Leveret that had just collided with him. He was not sure that he recognized it, though he could never be one hundred percent sure since he never really paid attention to them separately besides for when he had an eye for one of them.
He was not about to bite off the Leveret’s head after all he was sure that, this time at least, the Leveret had not intended to do it. Raising an eyebrow he took the Leveret. “Well nothing was injured so I suppose it was alright. What is a creature like yourself doing out and about at an hour like this?”
It was pretty obvious that the Leveret did not belong to him – he was sure he would have remembered if someone looking like this lived under his roof. Not to mention one of his Leverets would not look as . . . worn as this one.

For a heart-stopping moment, Zili waited for a physical blow or a verbal lashing or...something?
But nothing came, though the Jack did reach out to steady him and even offered him a few words of casual conversation. Slowly the Leveret peeked up at the bipedal male, shifting into a more relaxed but still subservient position.
"That's good, Sir. I'd be real sorry if I hurt ya." And not just because he'd probably get a beating for it, but because he was a generally good-hearted and laid-back sort that didn't wish harm on anyone. Usually. The question lightly perked his ears further forward and the Leveret shifted wiggled his nose in thought. "Just... eh..." He paused and then rubbed a paw in the dirt sheepishly. "Well, tah be honest, I'm rather lost 'n' I was jus' wanderin'."
He peeked up at the Selkie Jack once more, peering at him with one big eye and hoping, for at all that he had to hope, that the Jack might be the kind sort he looked and that he'd offer him a meal or...oh! even better, a job!

Leon eyed the rabbit quietly. This definitely was an odd situation.
He gave a nod of acknowledgment at the Leveret's words about it being sad had he hurt a Jack. It was the proper thing to expect from one such as its rank.
At the Leveret's words about it's current actions he raised an eyebrow. "Just wondering around? Should you not be doing your duties?" It was lost? He gave a frown down at the Leveret as he puzzled what this would mean for its character.
He could not believe that any Jack would just let his Leveret wonder, especially one who could manage to get lost, and especially in this state. Not to mention whoever it was definitely was not taking very good care of his warren.
"Who is it that is your Jack?" He asked, a mixture of concern and interest playing across his features.

The little leveret hesitated at this question, mind moving sluggishly as he tried to figure out the right words to reply with. Crap, crap, and more crap. This was a Jack he was talking to! Why was he being so...casual? You weren't honest with Jacks, you kissed their tails until they forgot about you!
His long ears slipped down a little and he scratched his head in thought.
"I... Well, that's da kicker, yeah? I...dunnt have un."
Enzili shrank back a little bit further, trying his best to hold that 'winning smile' that his Nanna had so loved him for. She'd told him no Jack could pass him up with a smile like that...but lately he was beginning to wonder if this was entirely a good thing...
His last Jack had gotten...ideas...that had wound up in the most terrible of endings and which had brought him to this very situation. If it were entirely up to him, he wouldn't be doing that again any time soon.
