Where had Lethe gone? Tybalt stomped through the halls of the Court, ragged tail waving like a war flag with his ears pinned back in determination. She had just 'gone to ask Daddy a question' and had never come back. Of course, after 20 minutes of waiting he'd gone looking for her and found that she'd never made it to Daddy at all! He didn't know where she was! Silly girl must have gotten lost or distracted. This was only their first couple weeks at the Court and any available moment to explore was eagerly pounced by the Morganberry. He shared her enthusiasm, he did, but he tried to keep it to times when he didn't have someone waiting for him. Luckily! He had an exceptionally strong nose and Lethe carried a very distinct scent of whatever franken-fruit she was eating (today was some sort of strawberry-lemon concoction). The wolf's ears thrust forward as he heard a cheerful, all-too-familiar voice just around the corner. Well, that was way too easy but he was grateful he had found her. The cheerful antelope had been going to talk to father, but when a very curious looking individual that actually seemed to be about her age wandered by an unfamiliar corridor Lethe couldn't help but to follow. Of course, she must have taken a wrong turn along the way because the interesting person was gone and she had promptly gotten lost. Where had her 'white rabbit' gone? Eventually, however, she had discovered another interesting-looking peer that actually seemed to know where they were going. "Hello! Would you mind helping me find my Dad's office? I'm new here and I still don't really know my way around." The Morganberry antelope-wolf gave her fluffy little tail and eager wag and flaunted her brightest grin. Hopefully they would be the helpful sort of stranger and not an asshat.

Blight turned from his contemplation of a nearby table leg; his teeth were bothering him. He wanted to chew and that table did not-- yet-- bear marks of his constantly and swiftly growing teeth. He wished Spite was around, but his confident brother was off on some errand of his own today. He gave a purely mental sign and fixed his gaze on the young girl speaking to him. Morganberry. His ears pricked forward a bit at the sight, though it certainly didn't make him want to talk to her. Still. He did like Morganberries; he liked familiarity. Fate paused, turning her entirely glass head back in the direction she'd mournfully wandered from. She heard a very cheerful voice back there. It didn't sound anything like Fey or Zehen, but it was very intriguing. She carefully back-tracked and peeped around the corner to see Blight being talked at. Oh, that would never do! She trotted forward, opening her mouth before she remembered. . . Oh, yeah, she couldn't talk anymore. Her ears went flat and she made a sad, chiming sound. Being completely glass was dumb! Though the Court of Clubs was officially his home, Vicious didn't really live here right now. He spent most of his time in the Capital now. He was back, however, for a respite from 'Uncle' Iphis and his screaming, crying, spastic babies full of rainbow goo and flower spit. Man, he was petrified of babies now. He shook his head and concentrated on Brimstone. "Okay, first one to the library wins. Scourge, call the countdown." The boy hunkered down, ready to leap off down the hallway.

"No, you guys are just gonna run off and laugh and be jerks and I don't like you and-" eventually he stopped for breath, but his heart wasn't really in it. He usually just argued with them for the sake of it, and would usually go along with them anyway. Because usually Brim would hit him and laugh anyway. "Okay, on your mark, get set, GO!" Brimstone shot forward, remembering this time to not try and hold Vic back to get an advantage. He still had some scars on his hand from when he tried that, and it really hurt! "Thanks, BABY brother!" His heart wasn't really in it, either, he just felt like he was supposed to give Scourge a hard time.

Lethe paused, blinking slightly. Why... wasn't he saying anything? And now that he was staring at her, Lethe noticed that his eyes were blank and he had that creepy mark. Oooh.. maybe this wasn't the best person to encounter? He seemed utterly uninterested in helping too. Crap.
A girl entirely made of glass approached a moment later only to chime sadly and look frustrated. Mute? Were they both mute? Lethe looked between the two - maybe siblings, they seemed about the same age and partially of the same breed? "Uhm, could either of you guide me to the Kings' Offices? I'm sure I could find my Dad from there?"
There, that might help... Right? Maybe? Probably not.
Meanwhile, Tybalt was laughing from within the Hall he'd been spying on Lethe from, but his laughter came to a very sudden halt when he heard an unusual sound. Pounding... hooves?
The young wolf turned around just in time to see two unusual bipedal Morganberries sprinting down the hall toward him. For a moment he was too surprised by the fact that one of them seemed to be growing strange flaming material through his body and the other had a cannibal marking. Were they coming after him!?
The wolf spun around and plastered himself to the wall, hoping that he wouldn't he crushed. Suits knew he couldn't have outrun 'em if he tried, his bindings would take too long to remove his clips and running was terribly painful with them on. Crap crap, please don't be chasing me.

Blight twisted his head slightly to stare at Fate as she walked up. She moved as though to speak, but, of course, she could not. He hadn't really minded her before, but it was a little awkward now that she was mute. He was used to others filling up his silences and, well, obviously she could not do that now.
He tilted his ears towards the Club thoughtfully and glanced at Fate again. She nodded her head quickly and nudged at her brother pointedly. Lead, lead! she seemed to say.
Blight shrugged and, after another very long pause, finally said, ". . . Okay."
Vicious didn't bother to think about Brim's scars-- it hadn't hurt him, after all, and Brim was healed now-- especially since this was the telling race. Brimstone had won their last one and it was time for Vic to win back his honour. He took off at Scourge's call, ignoring the banter between his two brothers. He skidded around the first corner; he'd forgotten how hard these floors were on his hooves! Brim couldn't keep the lead from him in a straightaway, though, and this was definitely the time for him to get in front. Unfortunately, there was an obstruction in their path and with the two of them so close together, there wasn't room in the hallway to dodge a third. Vic cursed loudly, trying to leap over the wolf without injuring either of them. He just hoped Brim wouldn't plow into the kid.

Brimstone saw his brother leap, but didn't see the reason for it until mid-stride. He tried to aim for the wall to kind of spring off of it, but he wasn't quite sure how to manage that yet, so the results were less than desirable.
Claws scritching and scratching on the tile, his should connected with the wolf despite his best efforts. He didn't even get a foot onto the wall! He probably would have been better of not trying the fancy flip, since the wolf had actually tried to get out of the way. Ah, well.
The impact spun him around half-way before he tripped and fell. Aaaaaaand there went the race. He huffed a quick ball of fire moodily. Might as well see if everyone was all right.
"Hi. I'm Brimstone," he said, with a real if less than charming smile. "Are you okay?"

Tybalt hated this, but he kept himself forcibly still. If he tried to jump up and move or to scramble out of the way, he would've just gotten caught underfoot. It had happened before. Luckily the burning fellow sprung easily overhead and by the time Tybalt glanced back toward the unusual mouse it was too late and there was an awkward collision of paws and claws.
When the chaos seemed to have stopped, Tybalt sat up and groaned a little. "Ouch." Before even bothering to open his eyes he reached a paw up to feel out his clips and then promptly popped them off. Stupid, stupid, things. They were the entire cause of this trouble, he could have easily sprinted the short distance to get around the corner without them! But someone was talking to him and they didn't seem to be trying to eat him.
The wolf's eyes opened and he glanced up, ears down. "Hey. Yeah, I'm okay. Just a little sore in places. I'm Tybalt." Well, at least the mouse wasn't mean. That was cool. He smiled back, albeit a little awkwardly.
Lethe beamed cheerfully when the glass girl nudged the rather large mouse and, to Lethe's shock, he was able to say something. He just chose not to, didn't he? Jerk. But she couldn't hold anything against him because he was leading now and that made things much better. "I'm Lethe, by the by."
Just then there was a commotion in a nearby hall and the little antelope mix pushed her ears up thoughtfully. Did that sound like Tybalt? Well, it seemed like they were passing through that way anyway, so for once Lethe would be good and stay with her group and -not- get lost. Better to take her time getting back to Tybs anyway, he'd be pissy when he realized she'd wandered off and never made it to Daddy... Likely, he already had.

His wild leap caused his landing to be shaky and Vic would have tried a roll, except his iron rings made that a very bad idea. As it was he skittered a bit then slammed into a wall. He cursed again as he set the end of a tapestry on fire and he quickly flipped the other corner over it and pounded it back out. There. It was hard to even see the char. And the scent of burnt cloth was only slightly pervasive. He turned around to see Brimstone and the wolf in a pile. "Ha, gotta stick that landing next time, Brim."
He moved forward and offered a hand first to his brother, ears tilting towards Tybalt. "I'm Vic. Sorry Brim's so clumsy."
Fate couldn't keep herself from staring a bit at Lethe; the girl seemed so nice and friendly! She was rather jealous.
Blight started on his way, ears pricking at the sound of familiar voices. He sniffed as well, catching the scent of charred cloth. Ah, so it was probably Brim and Vic. Most of the carpets had been removed so Fey would stop burning them up. A turn around the corner proved his guess was correct. The tiniest hint of a smile tugged at the corners of his mouth at the pile of Cards. He liked having all of his siblings home.
