Bored.Bored.Bored.Bored. That was the mantra of Tybalt this afternoon. His expression blank and his ears drooped, Tybalt trod along after his sister. They were on another one of her ambitious escapades to earn Respect and Renown (and Fortune, but that was their little secret). It wasn't as if Tybalt didn't have his high ambitions in the very same interest: he was the one that wanted to be Queen, after all. Lethe was more interested in having her name on candy shops and getting some awesome magical tricks. The difference between them was that Lethe never tired of her ambitions and sometimes Tybalt just wanted to take a break and listen to some rock bands. "Lethe, I'm sick of doing errands. Lets go swim in the fountain or throw rotten fruit at tourists. Anything, Lethe, anything!"The wolf shut up when he realized his sister wasn't even listening. In fact, had stopped moving all together. "Tyb," she gasped with awe, "that boy is on fire." Tybalt looked up as his sister finished, arching a brow until he saw what he saw and that boy was, indeed, on fire. She was ignoring him again, something that often happened thanks to her goldfish-like attention span, but he really didn't care right now. Chasing strange burning people was definitely more interesting than running errands. "Helloo~ Your fire is really awesome." Up close, he was even made of glass like she was. Lethe had just met her new best friend, it didn't even matter that he was a Heart and was probably about to give her a swift taste of his pain ability as she invaded his personal space. "And your horns! Your horns are glass like my roses!"

Levi felt like all of his time lately was spent solely in trying to control Sid's destructive behaviour. It wasn't surprising, but, well, Levi felt growing pains, for lack of a better term. Their Father had directed him to be of assistance to Uncle Elias, but he hadn't been able to even visit the Court of Clubs once, much less actually aid their adopted uncle/grandfather. Today, they were on a quest to get some needed items for Sid's new pet. Though Levi didn't really expect the poor Ace to survive all that long. The Ten was suddenly distracted from his thoughts by a girl. He blinked, not really catching what she was saying. "Wha-what?" Sid bounced along beside his brother, noticing the interesting kids before Levi and wiggled his deer tail as the girl came up. He grinned at her as she went on happily about Levi's coolness factor. "He totally ith!" The teen agreed. "He wath born like that!"

Lethe paused when the the fiery Heart actually reacted with surprise instead of assault. Well, that went better than it usually did. The Morganberry gave a light hop back so she wasn't almost nose to horn and smiled properly, politely, because she wanted him to talk to her and maybe actually be her friend.
Having to stalk him would be very sad and Tybalt would surely be annoyed.
"Sorry I got a little excited~" She beamed. "I don't see cards with such awesome mutations everyday, especially not glass and fire. Those are the very best." She gave a little turn, displaying the large and heavy rose resting between her shoulder blades for emphasis. "Anyway! I'm Lethe and this is Tybalt."
Wow, she actually used his real name instead of some horrible moniker instead. He... might actually really like this new kid, and his ...spastic friend. Heh. He announced his presence with a simple "Hey" and glanced back to the bouncing, fanged... crap, cannibal? Should they really be standing so close to a kid with that mark on his face? Tybalt contained himself for now, but he was wary. "Yeah, Lethe was born with her rose too." He glanced back to the flaming horse...? "But I bet you get way more attention for your mutations, huh?"

Levi tilted his head, staring at the girl baffled. As a matter of fact, he was usually so caught up in keeping Sid in line that he didn't even notice the looks-- or other reactions-- his own appearance caused. Sure some people seemed to cross to the other side of the street or even stare, but Levi had always just sort of assumed that these were based solely on Sid antics.
Because Sid had a lot of antics.
"We know thomeone born with a rothe!" Sid announced proudly. "The really liketh Levi."
"What?" Levi turned to stare at his brother, shock at the statement breaking through his confusion. "She does not."
"Yeth, the doeth! The totally doeth!" Sid flapped his wings a few times to help illustrate his point. "The wath alwayth athking you to go around with her!"
"So I have good taste, wot does that have to do with the price of eggs?"
Sid tilted his head. "Who'th thelling eggth?"
Levi sighed. "Never mind." He turned back to the pair. "Sorry. It's nice to meet you. I'm Levi and this is Sid."
Sid beamed, "Nice to meet'cha!"

Tybalt's brow arched slowly. Were these kids crazy? Well, yes. One was a cannibal and had scary long fangs, that was crazy. The other kid was on fire and hanging out with the cannibal, that could also be counted as crazy. So Tybalt would just put them both on the crazy scale and try to be as unnoticeable as possible. Which seemed to be working, as Levi seemed to be utterly baffled by everything that came out of their mouths.
"You do realize, Levi, that you're on fire and that," he glanced around pointedly, "no one else is?"
Lethe kicked her brother lightly and then smiled warmly. No need to be rude, even if she was still a little confused by the lisping kid's comments but she thought she was starting to understand. No... maybe she didn't. What about eggs? ...She was pretty sure she hear Rose and Like and was that about her? Oh goodness she hoped not, was she obvious that she thought he was cute? No... No she didn't think so?
Suits, this was confusing!
Finally, thankfully, Levi turned back to her and smoke a coherent sentence. Lethe could handle that. "The pleasure's mine," she grinned cheerfully between the boys. But now they were just standing there and not talking about fantastic mutations like Lethe had initially expected. Crap, now she had to make something up on the spot. "So! What brings you two to the Capital? We're not interrupting anything, are we?"
Tybalt snorted, sulking. We? She should have said I. He wasn't doing a blasted thing! He was just sitting here and keeping his mouth shut like sister wanted. Again! This may have sucked even more than errands.

Levi couldn't stop from snorting a small laugh at Tybalt's statement. "Well, I guess so, but have you seen some of the people out and about now?" He lifted a hoof to gesture around, but perhaps now wasn't really the best time for examples. There didn't seem to be a lot of mutations obvious and he put the foot down with an amused shake of his head. "Well, where we're from there were a lot of mutations."
"We live here!" Sid announced in answer to Lethe's question. "Do you? There'th a great burger place on the corner of Thouth Thecond Threet! You thould totally try it. Let'th go NOW!" He bounced excitedly up and down at this thought.
"Wot about Woonsocket's bedding?" Levi asked, still amused. "I'd like those towels back for the bathroom."
Sid tilted his head, thinking seriously about this. "We thould bring him with uth. I bet he'th hungry, too."

Tybalt paused and then bobbed his head. Yeah, okay, he understood that. But the kid still shouldn't be so nonchalant about being a freak thing. Tybalt didn't mind, but it seemed like it'd draw a lot of unwanted attention.
"Yeah, the Court of Clubs has some pretty interesting stuff, but Lethe never tires of it."
Lethe beamed. Tybalt was very correct about that, Lethe loved to see other mutations and Levi was smack dab in the middle of two of her favorites. How wonderful! "We live here too! Well, on the weekends. Most of the time we stay at the Court of Clubs." But now there was also talk of burgers and the little antelope mix cringed at the thought. She was very much a vegetarian with a preference for fruit, yummy fruit, but there was always something to scrounge up, even in a burger joint (it just usually wasn't very good). Meanwhile, Tybalt's tail was wagging a mile a minute. He loved burgers. For all that Lethe had tried to tempt him away with sweet fruit, he was still a carnivore.
Before he could agree about getting burgers now, there was talk of a Woonsocket. He'd never heard of it and, from the sound of it, he didn't like it either. "Woonsocket?" He blurted out, making an awkward face. "What's a woonsocket?"
